Pantene Launches Hair Care Line for African-American Women [Instagram]
Pantene has broken new ground in the beauty realm. The company on Thursday announced the launch of the Pantene Gold Series, which caters to African-American women’s hair. The product line is meant for both relaxed and natural textures, and includes shampoo and conditioners as well as styling products (oils, cremes, puddings and masks), which are now available where Pantene products are sold.
De Beers and LVMH Consciously Uncouple [Reuters]
De Beers Diamond Jewellers has bought out its retail partner, LVMH, to regain sole ownership of the company in a move it hopes will help it continue its expansion into both new products and new markets. The American jewelry company bought back LVMH’s 50 percent stake for an undisclosed sum. The two brands had been partners since De Beers first began using its diamonds to make jewelry back in 2001.
