Inter target Javier Pastore has been quick to respond to his team mate, Thiago Silva in saying that it’s not true that he wants to leave at all costs. He has in fact declared his love for the club and suggested that he would love to end his career in the French capital.

In an interview with Yahoo Sports France, the Argentine midfielder said, “I haven’t spoken to Thiago about my problems or my future. I never put anyone under pressure as this is not my style. Thiago Silva wasn’t aware of my problems which led to me returning back to training late after Christmas.”

This was in response to an interview with the Brazilian after the Ligue 1 match between PSG and Amiens where the defender seemed to criticise his team mate for his unprofessional behaviour stating that the former Palermo player had in fact asked to be sold.

The truth behind the players tardy return was in fact due to a family issue which he had wanted to keep private and was in fact nothing to do with football at all. Pastore finished saying: “I repeat that the last thing I want to do is leave PSG. My wish is to stay and I have always been loyal to the club. I would like to stay and finish my career here.”
