Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Basic Materials, Healthcare and Utilities sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.16%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 3.08% or 0.2800 points to trade at 9.3750 at the close. Meanwhile, YIT Oyj (HE:YTY1V) added 2.34% or 0.15 points to end at 6.78 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) was up 2.12% or 0.115 points to 5.550 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Konecranes Abp (HE:KCRA), which fell 2.44% or 0.83 points to trade at 33.23 at the close. Tieto Oyj (HE:TIE1V) declined 0.88% or 0.23 points to end at 25.96 and Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) was down 0.78% or 0.34 points to 43.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 74 to 61 and 16 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for May delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $51.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in April fell 0.33% or 0.16 to hit $48.33 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.15% or 1.85 to trade at $1203.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.14% to 1.0663, while EUR/GBP fell 0.74% to 0.8716.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 101.15.
