It's interesting to hear your thoughts on Imzy. A friend invited me to the beta last year, and I looked around. The site has some potential, there's a lot of good ideas there. But I would say to the anon who asked about it: the site is very focused on building communities at this time. There isn't really a way to 'follow' specific people like there is on Tumblr. Also, there isn't really a messaging system between users. And as you said, there isn't any kind of reblog function.

To be fair, you can kind of ‘follow’ someone by joining their community, and then you get updates on the most popular posts in the community on your ‘dash’ - but it definitely isn’t like Tumblr where you scroll through your dash and see all the posts of everyone you’re following - for that you would have to go to each community you’re a part of and check on them. You can also track individual posts, though I haven’t done that yet, so I don’t know exactly what that does - I’m assuming you then get notifications when that post updates.

The lack of the reblog/share function is unfortunate. :( The site is definitely designed with different functions in mind. It’s a little closer to LiveJournal in that respect.
