I got an "A" in orgo and agree w/the other comments. You won't find a prof who cares more. I found my dream scholarship and wrote her on a Friday night asking for a rec letter. She not only wrote me a rec letter, she helped me with my ap and my interview. I got it! Three year later, I hired one of her students. Dr. Cat rocks.

I needed organic for grad school. A lot of my friends took Dr. Cat and I signed up. She is so much better than the other organic teachers at GWU. She explains concepts in a way that relates to you. Dr. Cat also cares what happens to her students. She gives great career advice and works with you on applications. I want to take her WID class too.

Dr. Cat is great. She gives fair exams which seem long if you are not prepared. You get extra credit for problems, quizzes, and review papers. She covers everything you need to know for the MCAT but doesn't teach the test. It's summer, so she lectures fast but gives GREAT REVIEWS. She uses a scale, not a curve. Not all should go to med school.

As we all know, Organic Chemistry is a daunting and intimidating class, but one that all pre-meds must conquer. Her teaching style was the best I have ever seen! She has an incredible way with the material - she makes a difficult topic seem straightforward by underlining specific themes. If you need Orgo, it is best to take it with Dr. Kat!

Dr. Cat is an amazing professor. She made a subject as daunting as organic chemistry easy to tackle. Her exams are hard but fair and she provides ample opportunities for extra credit. Take time to get to know her - she has great stories.

Dr. Cat is kind and culturally sensitive. Ramadan was in the summer. She arranged for some students to take the test in the daytime before class instead of at night after fasting. Classy. She turns questions on you and makes you think your way thought it and not memorize. I learned more in her class than any other at GW. Go Colonials!

Dr. Kat is one of the greatest professors I have ever had. I wish I could've taken any course with her besides Organic Chemistry. He class is incredible difficult and yet you will actually learn the material, not memorize, LEARN. If you actually want to learn the material take Dr. Kat. The MCAT scores from her class are proof enough.

The best professor I've had at GW, no doubt. She made organic extremely clear and was always there to help her students. You have to put in the effort, but Dr. Cat's dedication to her students and her teaching is unlike any professor I've had.

Let's be real, we all know orgo is not going to be (nor is it supposed to be) the best experience of our lives. Dr. Cat makes orgo bearable. I actually get why things are happening rather than storing a bank of reagents in my head. If you are willing to work hard, you must take her. Proton on, proton off!

Although she is willing to commit the time to help, she teaches her own type of chemistry which really screws you over not only for the exams but the MCATs. She lets students out of class early every period-which although is nice, is terrible because she doesnt even teach the material we need to know on the exams.

WORST ORGO PROFESSOR. She tells you not to read the book but then tests you on information she barely covers in class. Not to mention her examples in class go over the bare minimum so expect to fail your exams if you look only at notes (like she tells you to do).
Dr. Cat is super helpful outside of class. She met with me 1-on-1 on her time off. I don't think it's because she likes me but it's because she cares. She made me try harder. She took extra time on Saturday morning with a bunch of us who were failing. She slowed everything way down for us. I was scared of organic but I passed because of her

Awesome teacher who will have you understanding chemistry in no time especially if you find the book confusing and boring (most do). Additionally she is very helpful with the MCAT or whatever career path it is that you want to take. Very personable, very likable, very funny teacher. I giver her an A.

I dreaded orgo. I totally did not want to take it but Dr. Woytowicz helped me learn and not memorize. Move over Dan and John, I got a 44 on my MCAT too but I'm not going to med school. Maybe it's not the place to say it but she will also help you with life. She knows the university resources and can help if you have a total melt down like me.
