YOUR NEXT PERMANENT APPENDAGE AFTER YOUR SMARTPHONE AND SMARTWATCH
UPDATE 2/22/16. I have been reading people complaining about connectivity issues. I have had ZERO connectivity issues. Also, I am BAFFLED how anyone could speak badly of the sound of these headphones! I think there are 2 reasons for the complaints...#1 they are not using samsung phones with the UHQ technology...#2-they fail to use the app that goes with these. These are a BUY BUY BUY folks! This is music on STEROIDS. I have no listening fatigue, and I hear the most amazing new detail in the songs I have heard for decades.A I learned of these headphones from Flossy Carter's review on YouTube. He called them "dope" (that means really good). These blew away all my expectations! I bought them in spite of the complaints of low volume. These PLAY LOUD! I use a Galaxy Note 5. I think these other people were using other smartphones other than Samsung with UHQ setting, or had their settings on their phones to limit volume. Superb sound! The design of these was one of the reasons I bought them, and they are perfect. The main unit can tuck under a shirt collar and be virtually invisible. The earpieces fit very comfortably, and do not fall out. There are four sizes of rubber pieces to accommodate all ear sizes. The earpieces are magnetic if you want them to cling together when hanging in front of you. For me, I toss each earpiece over my shoulders---it makes it easy to find them when I need to put them in my ears. Music sounds GREAT with the UHQ quality technology built into these headphones and most late model Samsung Smartphones. Initially, my impression was that bass was a bit weak--but THEN, after remembering the app that goes with these, I set the EQ properly, and now, bass is THUNDERING, SKULL VIBRATING and EXCELLENT! If you do not have a Samsung smartphone with UHQ, I do not know how they will sound for you. For phone calls, I use only one earpiece...using both on phone calls makes your own voice radiate through your head because you cannot hear yourself normally. I used them on one phone call so far. The person said they could hear me fine. I will update this review if I get any complaints on phone calls. It is rare for some new technology to become an "appendage" that I wear or use all day....but this is ABSOLUTELY one of them. I can put them on in the morning, and have them ready all day, and even if I never use them, I do not even notice them. For talk radio, I often just put one earpiece on, and then I can still hear my surroundings and not offend people who may want to talk to me. I have an LG Urbane Watch HIGHLY RECOMENDED BY THE WAY, which allows me simple track changing, start, stop and volume control (but the Samsung Level U's do have those controls on the main unit). I GIVE THESE FIVE STARS AND HAVE ONE WORD FOR YOU "BUY THEM"! I paid full $99.97 pop for them so this is not a paid announcement. I am not a paid actor or celebrity. These are the most convenient, brilliantly designed and best performing Bluetooth headphones I have ever owned. I am SICK of WIRES everywhere. Have a nice day, and happy listening. Face it...Samsung is WAY ahead of Apple in innovations: better resolution screens with more vivid colors, wireless charging on smartphones, the pen on the Note 5, S notes, power saving mode, the best TVs around, and now this UHQ Music and headphones....bye bye Apple! I am tired of Apple INTENTIONALLY lagging behind so they can keep milking their community with new models, nickel and diming you with tiny improvements. Samsung does not do this...they are aggressive in innovation and always bring the latest technology right away. I included in this review some photos of features and specifications given on the box of the Level U Pros.

Been wanting to go Bluetooth for a while but I kept hearing the technology is not quite there yet. Recently starting seeing more and more popping up at the gym so I started to look into them again. Since I just got a Galaxy S7 Edge and I thought the around the neck idea was slick I looked into these to take advantage of the UHQ Audio or Super Duper UHQ or whatever they are calling it now on the S7. Still not sold on whether or not it's just a gimmick. FWIW - I have it turned on and installed the Level App to take advantage of a couple features and help solve what I thought to be a lack of volume issue with these.

Enough background - just establishing that I'm a real person with a day job and not getting paid to post reviews. The bottom line is these are not 5 star headphones and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the top of the line products anyway...no audiophile here. They are 5 star Bluetooth earbuds at $58.99 (or even $73 which is what I initially paid on April 1st). The construction, design features, and overall sound are great.

Now let me clear up some things I have read on these reviews because initially I was going to return these purely because they were not loud enough. I am a grown man and lets face it, sometimes you want to crank it at the gym to push through a set or get an extra burn on the cardio. You know it's not great for your ears but that should be your choice. I'm also 48 years old and I'm sure my ears have lost quite a bit but I could barely hear these things at the volume where the phone pops the warning about listening too loud. Did a lot of reading here and searching online. Tried unpairing / pairing, tested a wired skull candy full over ear headphone with my S7, tested the Level Us with my laptop, and finally with an iPhone. Now the top reviewer on here says people with iPhones or non-UHQ phones account for the bad reviews but I will say they sound pretty much the same on all the devices and at max volume on your device and max volume on the headphones not loud at all. Not only that but I was hearing the tinny baseless sound that some reported. I read one review where the guy said there just wasn't enough isolation and that led me down the right path. At the time I was first checking these out I didn't bring the box with me and only had the original (medium) size tips in place. If I put a finger on each bud and put little pressure on them and basically sealed the ear canal, badda-bing, all the sudden I got base and some decent volume. Not thunderously loud by any means but just enough for this old man to enjoy at the gym. Obviously I've got larger than average ear canals and didn't know until now. I know they tell you to try out all the tips but like I said I didn't have them with me and who knew that a tiny bit more fill and isolation could make such a dramatic difference in both volume and base experience. The Apple things I've been using forever were loud as heck and they defiantly don't fill the ear canal.

So - long story short - I took them for a test drive at the gym last night and had no issue with them popping out even with the medium tips. The around the neck device wasn't slipping or bothering me in any way. I had no Bluetooth connectivity issues. Overall pretty darn good experience even with the less than desired volume and base. Now today I brought the little bag of extra tips with me and popped on the biggenz. Perfect! I mean the volume still isn't going to shake your brain but I'd say it is probably a level I shouldn't be going higher than anyway. Someone else here mentioned these Comply Tips that I may try as well because of exactly what I'm saying here. They claim that comfortably filing the ear canal makes all the difference with in-ear buds, but they have mixed reviews and don't seem to have a tip that explicitly says it fits the Level U Pro. Would love to hear some feedback from others here if you have tried them. Hope this helps someone...I try to give back now and again ;-)

Samsung really out did themselves this time. I've used shadow wireless, LG tone pro, infinim, you name it. This is hands down, the best bluetooth device I have ever used. the fit is comfortable, it's not made with plastic like the previous generation (I think it's carbon?). Although it feels less flexible, it's a good trade off for the durability. Did I mention the chrome accent? It certainly look premium.

Let's get into the convenience. This things can work like 20 feet away. Obviously I haven't measured the exact distance, but it works from very far away. When you're busy and need to take calls? All you have to do is pull the magnets apart to take the call or say answer or press a button to take calls. The sweat resistance work! I work out couple times a day and I've had no issues with it so far! The earbuds doesn't come off and I've been using the in stock version, but if that doesn't work, they do give you a couple of options with the device.

Now let's get into the audio quality. Superb. The only thing is you need a UHQ phone (so galaxy note 5, s6/edge). Not so sure about the S5 but the older generation phone definitely won't work as well. You might be better off getting the regular Samsung level u at that point. But wow.... It's like the person is standing right next to me during calls. If you download high quality music on your phone, this is it!! Don't expect pandora to play high quality when it's only at 64 kbs while using your data. Again, at that point, regular level u will suffice! The bass on this is not something you'd expect from a $100 head phone! Actually... how can this thing only a $100? If you're looking a replacement earbuds like beats, these would do the trick! If you use a full on headphones like the monster 24k or those really thick beats, it's still worth looking into. These have true sound. Obviously, not as much bass but... the sound is unreal.

The battery life is pretty good. I charge it about every 3 days and takes less than half hour to charge all the way. I do have portable charger I don't really have to charge it at home though. Samsung claims 300 standby time and 9 hours of talk time and it seems fairly accurate. I wish it would last a bit longer and stretch it that extra day.

Oh, the mics work fine. Can't seem to find an issue yet.

Anyways, for a $100, these are a MUST buy. They double as a headphone and as a bluetooth headset with the comfort and the high quality you would expect from samsung. I can't wait until the S7 comes out so that I can match my phone with the color I got.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excelentes auriculares para realizar llamadas.
Reviewed in Mexico on December 27, 2018

Reviewed in Canada on July 17, 2018
This is the second one I've bought, I've been using the first one for a year now. Pros: Good price for the quality, really light, earbuds are comfy and really well made, easy to use and pair, high quality sound, sleek design, good battery life, fast charging. Cons: noise cancelling is very limited (but that's to be expected of any in-ear device), no iOS app (but they still work perfectly with any bluetooth device, including iOS ones).

5.0 out of 5 stars Versatile headset delivering the best quality sound you'd never expect.
Reviewed in India on February 3, 2018
Great headset for those looking for something versatile. Purchased this on the global store from Amazon while I'm surprised it says package is in transit while it was delivered 4 days ago.
The headrest is great for music and calls. Gives you that extra bass without requiring to do a manual EQ. Highly recommend that you use the Samsung level app which gives you extra features of its useability.
The headset very comfortably sits inside your shirt/t-shirt be it a collared, round neck or a mandarin shirt giving you accessibility to reach/ adjust the volume controls. But this again is a personal choice of the user.
It connects and syncs to apple devices simultaneously while being connected to your phone making you answer calls should you be listening to music from your iPod.
The best thing about this headset is that it vibrates when receiving a call and reads messages which can be customized from the app.
The range is pretty ok I should say. The one down side I've noticed is that there are disconnection that occur in milliseconds especially when you walk with the phone is in your pocket.
Buyers advice, be on the look out for the price. When I purchased the cost including shipment was 3.5k and the next day jumped to 7k.
As for voice calls, there is a bit of ANC (active noise cancellation) that takes place where background noise gets reduced a bit. This is based on feedback from my friends and colleagues on whom I've tested.
