Product Description

A face-to-face party like no other!

From the manufacturer

A Face-To-Face Party Like No Other

Throw an impromptu party anywhere with anyone thanks to a new play style in which players look at each other—not the screen! Bring the action and fun into the real world as you face off in wild-west duels, cow-milking competitions, a copycat dance-off, and more. Each game takes advantage of the Joy-Con controller features of the Nintendo Switch system in different ways. While the action unfolds off- screen, the audience watches the players themselves instead of the screen. That makes it as hilarious to watch as it is to play – an instant party amplifier!

Face-To-Face Play

Look at your friends rather than the screen as you compete in a new style of video game party full of fast and fun face-to-face games. Stare down your opponent in a wild-west duel, mimic your opponent’s poses in a copycat dance-off, or rally for victory in a heated table tennis face-off.

Anywhere with Anyone

Bring fun and surprise to barbecues, house parties, or wherever you travel by using the built-in stand of the Nintendo Switch system. The Nintendo Switch system comes bundled with a pair of Joy-Con controllers, allowing the party to start with just one system and the game for instant multiplayer fun.

Intuitive and simple controls using Joy Con features

Simple rules make it easy for anyone to play and fun for everyone to watch. Each player holds a single Joy-Con, and different games use different controller features, such as motion control, HD rumble, or the IR Motion Camera.

Additional accessories required for multiplayer mode. Some accessories sold separately.

2017 Nintendo. Nintendo Switch is a trademark of Nintendo.

Great Mini games goodness for Parties! Not recommend for single player.

Great Mini games goodness for Parties! Not recommend for single player.
I got this at launch and my friends who don't really play games were very excited for 1 2 switch. They don't really like really hard to play or confusing to control games but after we had a party at my house they intend to enjoy the game very much to their liking that they wanted me to bring it over at their parties as well. The game has 28 games showcasing the HD Rumble. There are a couple of games such as Runway, gorilla, milk, lock, and so much more. There's even a mini game called Baby where the player has to rock the baby back and fourth and put it to sleep. mostly this game is focus around two players and looking each other in the eye. At the price I got it at I think it's a fun game. My sisters enjoy it and my kids as well. This game sort of reminded me of the game Warioware franchise. With the short of minigames or Mario party mini games. Now keep in mind that when you start the game there's only a few mini games to start from. Which if you have not played them for the first time then it will put you in tutorial or basically a video showcasing how to play the game. You just have to wait a while until the tour is over then you can continue on the game. Luckily Nintendo allow the skip option to skip the tutorial once you played at least once. As you do the rest of the mini-games you unlock all 28 mini games which is pretty fast in my opinion. Some of them are pretty fun. Some of them are kind of strange. But it was a very fun little board game out on the go. Which me and my friends actually played outside while she was waiting to get her switch during launch games. I can see people doing this and lines or hotels when they don't have nothing to play they can play this.I wouldn't recommend paying $50 for this. However I do think $20 is appropriate title for it. As for if this game should be a packin title a lot of people complained about it why it's not packin. In my opinion it's because that this only showcases the HD Rumble but people will look at this game as another Wii sports successor gimmick or the console being another Wii successor. Which apparently that's not with the switch is all about. This system has those features but the switch is more focus on the hardcore Gamers out there or more to Gamers overall and taking it where you wish. This is just more to the casual and kids that might have fun playing it. Some complaints that this is not actually a game. Now that I disagree with. Because this actually is a game. Just not the kind of game that you put on a hand controller. But it's similar to Wii Sports. This is exactly when Nintendo advertised in the Showcase. As I've been keeping up with them and this game is quite what I expected so don't believe those people that got misled from the advertisement it's exactly how it was shown. Now this game is not everyone's cup of tea. If you like two player standing up action, versing people by looking them in the eye then I would recommend it. But if you're the type that just plays games with a standard controller and you don't really go to parties or you don't really have friends to play with then I don't recommend this game at all. I also played this by myself and I didn't see no problem with it as I also enjoyed my own fun just to mess around. But at all I think it's a good game. However I do wish Nintendo would make another Nintendo Land game because that was one of the games that my friends wanted to kept playing on the Wii U for a very long time along with Game and Wario. it was so fun to play with 5 players.
