This is 18-year-old student Christin Koch from Iowa, US.
Koch told BuzzFeed News that her parents, Jim and Lora Koch, have been married for over 26 years. In January 2017, Lora was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Koch said her mother had surgery on 21 February and has since been recovering at home: "She's doing good and keeps a very positive outlook on everything through her faith."
On Monday night, Koch's dad surprised his wife with a second proposal after 26 years of marriage. Koch said he did it to remind her that, like the wedding vows say, "he loved her even at her worst".
"My mom was so happy and she started crying every time she looked at it [the ring], it was adorable," Koch said.
Koch said her father is "very funny – he is always trying to help my mom and make her laugh."
Koch shared the heartwarming moment between her parents shortly afterwards on Twitter. "It's nice to see people reaching out and showing her the love she deserves to be shown," she said.
