Activated charcoal and diacetyl are harmless when digested orally but cause popcorn lungs when inhaled. Do you want to be a guinea pig in testing questionable additives to your juice? These things are oil-based. I personally would not vape anything with oils. And why you want to lube o-rings? If your tank is leaking it usually means something wrong with assembly, wicking, or o-rings are worn/broken and should be replaced, not lubed.

OK Everyone is basically confirming that I should get a nice cheap plain VG instead of the bees wax idea... but its natural..
and to answer dudes question why .... well how many times a day I have cleaned my Kayfun V4 ans reassembled ( I mean really clean disassemble completely put all of it in the strainer and rinse under hot water,,, ) and maybe rebuild a coil ..... it seems the o rings just need that little something

A handy "stick" seemed best but maybe I will consider having plain VG around for that ... it is cheap after all
Thanks all

I already questioned about the chapstick ( blistex ) in the link up in OP and found that is a dangerous NO NO ... DONT DO IT !!

No guinea pig desire here, vaping is already messing with my gums and stamina for the Gym so I''l play it safe with the VG ..
I will admit though that the newly purchased Burts Bees wax will serve until I get VG I mean Heck its freaking ALL natural

And why you want to lube o-rings?

I often clean and re-wick my RDAs and RBAs so they're ready to go in the future when I decide to fill them with eliquid. I never want to risk tearing or stretching the o-rings when they're dry and I attempt to put on top caps, sleeves, or drip tips or when I screw on a KFL top cap over a sharp chimney top, so I lube them with unflavored eliquid.

Silicone grease should be safe - both for the O-ring and any ABS plastics used in the assembly.

Don't use any kind of aerosol silicone spray as it probably contains hydrocarbon propellant, won't harm the O-ring but any ABS plastic will just crumble into granules.

Silicone is safe for health (some wimmin put it in their ....) - its fibrous silicates you don't want anywhere near your lungs.
