Held in Perth, the Hopman Cup runs a unique team format with two players from each country competing.

The eight countries are split into two groups, and the four teams play each other in a round-robin format.

Each tie consists of three rubbers - a men’s singles match, a women’s singles match and a mixed doubles match.

Last year’s winners, France’s Richard Gasket and Kristina Mladenovic, are not present this time around but the losing finalists Jack Sock and Coco Vandeweghe are back, hoping to go one step further after losing a decisive mixed doubles match.
