Here's the Exact Moment Democrats Busted Out Laughing During Trump's Congressional Address

When President Donald Trump addressed a joint session of Congress on Feb. 28, the Democratic attendees stuck it to the POTUS in more ways than one. Some Congress members like Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris invited immigrants to attend the address with them as a way to stand up to Trump's immigration policy. Plus, many women wore white to his address as a sign of united protest. And then, many Democratic Congress members couldn't hold back their candid reactions to Trump's words as he addressed the crowd.

When Trump said one comment in particular, Democrats in the chamber had a good laugh. "We have begun to drain the swamp of government corruption by imposing a five-year ban on lobbying by Executive Branch officials," Trump said in the address. Watch the video below to hear the Democratic side of the chamber chuckle at his claim that he's doing away with corruption because it looks like he's doing quite the contrary.

But that's not the only moment that made Democrats snicker. Bernie Sanders quickly responded to Trump's address on social media, sharing that when Trump discussed promoting clean air and water, he "had a hard time not laughing." Why? Because Trump recently rolled back Obama's clean water rules and selected an anti-EPA administrator to head the EPA, Bernie explained in a Facebook Live video after the address.
