This 2008 Shelby Cobra 427 is a fiberglass-bodied CSX6000 continuation model that remains in showroom condition with just 60 miles on the odometer. These Cobras were produced by Shelby Automobiles, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada and feature a CSX chassis number and Carroll Shelby’s signature on the glove box. This example is powered by a genuine cast-iron Ford 427ci V8 breathing through a Holley 750 carburetor putting approximately 530 horsepower down through a Tremec 5-speed gearbox. The car is now offered with a copy of its Shelby Statement of Origin, an inspection report, two sets of floor mats, a car cover, and a clean Ohio title in the selling dealer’s name.
This Cobra carries chassis number CSX6012 and was originally purchased by factory authorized Shelby dealer Gregory Motorsports in Pinedale, California, who took delivery of the car and installed the drivetrain. The previous owner bought the car approximately two years ago and properly maintained it in as-built condition with no further modifications since.
The fiberglass body is reported to present just as it left the Shelby Automobiles, Inc. facility in Las Vegas with no cracks, chips, or scratches. The black paint has recently benefited from a $1k Ceramic Pro detailing and appears very smooth with a high gloss from all angles.
The CSX6000 continuation cars feature a custom-built chassis fabricated by Shelby Automobiles with a 4” steel tube frame, dual A-arm suspension design with coil-over shocks, and four-wheel disc brakes with dual piston Shelby calipers at all four corners.
Rolling stock consists of Trigo 427 Cobra 6-Pin 15” wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle Sports Car Special race tires. The original tires are cracked and checked and should be replaced before any extended or hard driving according to the seller.
Inside, the black vinyl upholstery is reported to be in like-new condition along with all other materials, carpeting, and the door panels as one would expect for such a low-mile car. All CSX6000 Cobras were hand-signed by Carroll Shelby on the glove box lid before leaving the factory.
All instrumentation and lighting are said to be in great shape, with the odometer currently showing 60 miles. This number is verified as correct on the current Ohio title.

Under the hood, Gregory Motorsports of Pinedale, California fitted a genuine 1964 Ford C4AE-stamped cast-iron 427ci top-oiler V8. The engine breathes through a Holley 750 double pumper carburetor and puts approximately 530 horsepower down through a Tremec 5-speed gearbox.
The seller has provided several high-quality photos of the engine in the gallery below, and it looks to be exceptionally clean throughout. The seller states that this car starts easily, idles smooth, and provides gobs of power at any speed. A small oil drip is noted on the seller’s recent inspection report.
Several undercarriage photos have been provided with the car presenting as near-new underneath.
The seller performed a thorough inspection and has provided a two-page report in the gallery below. It lists the aged original tires and small oil drip as the only known flaws while the rest of the car checked out nicely.
A copy of the original MSO from Shelby Automobiles, Inc. is shown above, stating that the car was sold new to Matt Gregory of Gregory Motorsports. Also included with the sale is a spare set of floor mats embroidered with Carroll Shelby’s signature and a Form-Fit car cover with the Shelby Cobra logo as shown in the photo gallery below.
This looks to be a near-new continuation Cobra that is sorted and ready to be enjoyed by its next owner or collector. The seller welcomes inspections from interested parties and states that they will not be disappointed. A video of this Cobra being started is shown below:
