    Happy customer!
Just received the 65" panel a few days ago and wow, what a beautiful t.v. The design is great. Very sleek and sexy. I love the stand. It really enhances the overall look to the t.v.The picture quality really is amazing, provided you're watching a quality video source. Blu-Ray looks great, Netflix looks great. And what really wowed me was watching 3D. The first movie I watched was the Box Trolls, and let me tell you, I was blown away. I really felt like I was watching it in the theater. If there's anything negative that I can say about his LG is the trivial amount of "flashlighting" in the bottom left hand corner, but this is to be expected with an edge lit panel. You usually only notice it when watching a movie in widescreen format, but it's very insignificant. But that's the only bad thing I can say.The internal speakers are Harmon and Kardon which is quality audio, but I would recommend an external audio if you truly want to maximize your cinematic experience. If you do decide to buy this LG, I recommend turning off the Truemotion function unless you're watching sports or doing some gaming. Oh and by the way gaming on this t.v. is awesome! You will definitely not be disappointed in buying this LG.

I bought this TV because it was reduced, because it is a 2014. I have been looking for a nice UHD tv and am really a Samsung guy. This was an upgrade from a Samsung 50" plasma. The reviews were good and I have had LG appliances so thought I would give it a try. It's got a beautiful picture. The UHD quality (what there is of it) is stunning. I really wasn't even looking for a 3D TV but that was a bonus with this one. Came with two sets of the passive glasses. I like the passive glasses, they don't require batteries and you get them free at the movie theatre! The magic remote is neat. It works like a laser pointer so you point and click at what you want to do. Only thing it's spartan on controls, or I haven't figured it all out. We have DirecTV and use a Harmony One remote. There is a bit of light bleed on dark screen shots but really when watching TV I don't notice it. I only notice it when the TV comes on and one of the annoying pop up warnings comes on. If the TV cannot detect the input right away it pops up a huge warning. It does eventually disappear, or you can cancel with the remote. The TV has the WebOS version one. There is a promise that they are going to give the 2014 sets version 2..I hope so. My set just had an upgrade the other day and some of the screen icons changed. I got excited and thought I had gotten the upgrade but alas it was 1.5 something.
The 3D works great. I have read on here that some folks see "ghosting" and I see what they mean. If you are not in the sweet spot it does diminish the effect. This isn't an issue for us as we sit directly in front of the TV. I had several problems at first with both Pandora and Netflix. They would work for a while, and then I would get an error. Or on Netflix, it would just stop. It's not bandwidth, I have over 300m coming in. I ended up restoring the set to factory specs and re-entering my accounts. It then did an update on the apps and they work perfect now.
I think it's a great bargain right now and am glad I did it. The only thing I REALLY don't like is the stand. First, you cannot pivot the tv an second, if you use a center channel speaker, it won't sit in front of it. I ended up having to put mine behind the set.
So if you get a really good deal, I think it's a nice set.

Receiving the item from Amazon was quick and easy as I've come to expect. Setup of the TV is straightforward when following the instructions. Once I turned it on and got it connected to my WiFi, it did need to do a software update, but that seems pretty typical of this type of electronics. The picture is beautiful once you get it dialed in to your preferences. This can be done manually or with the help of a picture setup wizard.

I've only used the 3D to watch a couple of films that were streamed from Netflix, but it is really a cool feature. It remains to be seen how many titles will become available in 3D, but 4k resolution seems like it will be the standard in a few years. Regardless, this TV does both very well.

The aesthetics of the TV are nice too. The bezel (frame) is thin and the depth of the TV is slight. The stand that comes with the TV is nice as well although I plan on hanging the TV on the wall with a mount in the long-term.

I was a little concerned that the Magic Remote would be gimmicky, but it is not. It makes maneuvering through the menus much easier than having a huge remote with a lot of buttons. I have DirectTV, so the Magic Remote is used for setup, selection of input, and TV apps (like Netflix and YouTube) not general TV program watching.

The built-in apps and LG Store for downloading apps works very well. I setup my TV with the YouTube app, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. This also is a quick and easy process that is intuitive to navigate.

I've purchased two LG televisions for my home and 5 for my office. I believe they make the best TVs with the best and most intuitive systems available.

I have had this TV for only a few days, but I have found it to be of very good quality.

It natively and always upscales content from the standard 1080p to 4k. It does this very well. I replaced a 1080p TV with this one and was watching some older CGI movies. They looked "grainy" and you could tell they were old and early creations. On this TV, besides the color pallete and mesh errors, you would not be able to tell it was an early creation.

It also can natively convert 2D into 3D. This is not as good as an actual 3D show, but it does a pretty good job. You can clearly see that it is layered 3D, much like the early days of 3D. For true 3D shows, it is clearly 3D with great depth and no loss of color or resolution.

F.Y.I. For all of those that have read the articles that say you only get "half" of the show when watching 3D because you get half the resolution, this is a lie. If you are using active 3D, you get the full resolution in one eye at a time. This is because of the shutter technology. One video frame is for the left eye, the next is for the right, the next is for the left, and so on. If you are using passive 3D, you get half the resolution in both eyes at a single time. Every other line of resolution is for the same eye. With both eyes, you get 100% resolution in each frame no matter if it is active or passive 3D.

There are numerous other bonuses. But this TV was worth the money.

UPDATE: I have now had 2 major issues with the TV. The first issue is that it keeps making me login to Netflix. This does not happen every time, but it does happen at least once per week. It does this because the TV keeps deleting the Netflix cookie. It leaves the YouTube and VUDU cookies alone.

The other issue I have had was with the sound not matching the video. I have a Sony HTST9 7.1 Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer and HDMI cable connected to it. It has been connected to it for 2 years and been working perfectly fine. Then, without warning, this issue started. After wasting 5+ repeating troubleshooting steps with SquareTrade and LG, they came to the conclusion that it is a compatibility issue between the two. Nowhere will you find a list of compatible sound bars.

Through my own troubleshooting, the issue is with the SimpLink function. When this is turned on, the delay is apparent. When it is off, it matches. When the sound bar is connected to a Vizio TV, it matches. The sound bar can also split the video from the sound. Therefore, if I have the input going into it and it is just sending a video signal to the TV would make it the same as any other video device. I tried (on both devices) restarting, power cycling, re-initializing, changing settings (to include AV Sync Adjustment), changing cables, changing inputs, checking for updates, different TV, different video source device, and changing device setup. Nothing worked. I tried all that before giving them a call. The sound bar has also been repaired within the last month. They were having me repeat some of those steps multiple times. No matter how many times I told them this, neither company would listen.

There is no "compatibility" list for sound bars. So I either spent $998 + tax for the sound bar, or $1,699 + tax for the TV for nothing. I just bought the LG G6 to replace my broken phone. I have had LG products for over 5 years and they have all worked good. I have had their phones, dishwasher, and TVs. After the way their customer acted for this issue by not listening and making me repeat troubleshooting steps they had me do earlier, I will not be buying another LG product. The only people that I have had worse customer service with is SquareTrade.
