The vote for Brexit represented a historic moment. Given the chance to overthrow decades of political orthodoxy ordinary voters were anxious to take it.

They were happy to stand up to the bullying tactics deployed by the out-of-touch political class and overwhelmingly chose to leave the EU.

Remoaner politicians still arrogantly lecture us on the dangers of Brexit.

Thankfully all they can do is talk – they have very little chance of mustering the numbers required to create real problems for Theresa May and David Davis at this stage.

Nevertheless it reflects badly that some MPs are prepared to vote against the wishes of the people they represent.

If the political will existed this could be done quickly and easily. British taxpayers cannot pay for treatment for all the world’s sick.

With NHS funding stretched it is vital the Government cracks down on health tourism.
