Here’s Lemmy Kilmister’s Final Studio Recording

Lemmy’s final studio recording has been released — but don’t get too excited, ’cause it’s honestly a little anti-climactic. It’s not a new Motörhead song, or a track from the long-promised Lemmy solo album… it’s a song called “We Are the Ones” by Chris Declercq. And if you don’t know who that is, welll… neither do I! And All Music isn’t very helpful. There’s probably an obvious answer to the question “Who is this guy and how the heck did he get Lemmy to be on his track?”, like “He’s a songwriter and Lemmy’s nephew” or whatever, but I have no idea what it is.

And, hey, the track isn’t terrible. But it’s nothing special, either. Like I said: a little anti-climactic.

Check out “We Are the Ones” for yourself below. It also features drums by session player extraordinaire Josh Freese (A Perfect Circle, The Vandals, Nine Inch Nails, Guns N’ Roses, Evanescence, Black Light Burns, Lostprophets, The Offspring, every other band ever, etc.). If you dig the song it’s on all the usual digital outlets now.
