Toyota Yaris GRMN Hot Hatch Will Be Supercharged
To keep the hoards of Toyota performance fans satisfied until the Supra gets here, the Japanese automaker has shared some more information about its upcoming hot hatch.
The Toyota Yaris GRMN will make its global debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March with a supercharged 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine outputting 210 hp. GRMN apparently stands for Gazoo Racing Masters of the Nurburgring, which is a cute name for what is sure to be a ridiculously fun little car. We’re not sure yet if you pronounce GRMN like Garmin, but we’re going to suggest calling it the GRMLN instead.
Not much else is known about the Yaris GRMN except it is inspired by Toyota’s return to the World Rally Championship. North American availability has not yet been confirmed.

Toyota will also debut a concept called the i-TRIL Concept in Geneva, teased below. The i-TRIL is an electric mobility concept with a one plus two seating layout, active lean technology and the capability of driving autonomously.
