One of Nigeria’s foremost prophets, Primate Elisha Babatunde Ayodele, has asked President Muhammadu Buhari to give Nigerians a special gift for this year’s Christmas.

The spiritual head of the INRI Evangelical Church who is popular for his prophecies on issues of national and international relevance, celebrated the president on the occasion of his 75th birthday and prayed for long life for him.

Primate Ayodele then asked the president to consider the masses as he celebrates, and make them happy as Christmas approaches.

According to him, one of the ways Nigerians can be happy this Christmas is if they find it easy to move around and buy things at cheap rates during the festivities, but he regrets that it is not the case in the markets where the masses go everyday.

“I want the president to look at the masses during this Christmas. He should really consider things that will make them smile this season because that is what the people need in the midst of the economic crisis which we are trying to overcome.

“I can assure you that if the prices of things go down this period, the president will see how happy the people will be; it is a special gift that Nigerians will be happy to have for Christmas,” he told Legit.ng during a chat.

Primate Ayodele also tasked the Senate president, Dr. Bukola Saraki, with making laws and passing bills that will help the people in the land, especially those who are poverty-stricken.

He said: “President Buhari and our Senate president are great leaders, and coincidentally share the same birth month, which means they have to make us happy in the country.

“I believe they are both there for the people, they should make the people happy this festivity.”

Legit.ng had reported that Primate Ayodele, said that a northerner will still rule in 2019.

Primate Ayodele who stated this in a chat with Sunday edition of Tribune Newspapers said by 2035, Nigeria will be no more, among other issues.
