EXCLUSIVE: Logan Browning is tuning up to star alongside Girls alum Allison Williams in the Richard Shepard-directed horror thriller The Perfection, about two cello prodigies and a sinister obsession that drives the dark pursuit of perfection.
The screenplay hails from Shepard, Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder. Miramax CEO Bill Block is producing the project with Shepard and Stacey Reiss. Christian Mercuri’s Capstone Group is handling international sales for the film, slated to begin production in early 2018 in Shanghai and Vancouver.
Browning currently stars as Samantha White in Netflix’s Dear White People, which she just wrapped filming for Season 2, and will appear on the fourth season of the dance drama Hit The Floor, which shifted from VH1 to BET. On the film side, Browning starred in 2007’s Bratz: The Movie and appeared in the Netflix drama Brotherly Love.
She is repped by UTA and manager Ken Jacobson.
