I wanted to replace my old eRoll-C with a new cigalike and PCC and decided upon the Kamry Micro/Cassiel which so far has turned out to be a good choice. You can read about it here if you like:

Kamry Micro - a good successor to the eRoll?

Before I found the Micro, however, I considered quite a few other little-known but interesting cigalikes that came up in my search and, rather than consign them to oblivion, thought it would be good to profile them here for posterity!

So I will post pics and specs of different cigalikes and if anyone can help me out and contribute one that isn’t on the list below (like European/USA brands), please feel free! I tend towards non-disposable cigalikes that don’t use filler-wrapped cartos, but there’s no hard and fast rule as long as it can be seen as a cigalike and is available.

Here’s my list to be featured in upcoming posts (in no particular order).

joyetech/Ovale eRoll
Ovale Emini Duo (eRoll successor)
eleaf iKiss
Titan BC
Kamry K500 (eRoll clone)
Kamry Micro/Cassiel
Jiameida JMD-1 (eRoll clone)
Smiss Emili
Joecig XT-C series (1,2,3)
Eson Electronic Cigarette
Cigma Vape/Onyx/Kimree Vapor Queen/Kimsun PC Queen Vape
ePuffer Magnum Snaps
Innokin AIO
Alchemy Z5
E-Pard D
MSTCIG T105
VapeOnly Malle
Ploom Tech
iQos
Mini Hakka
Costech
Karee K8
Njoy Daily (discontinued disposable but I like the design)
White Cloud
Blu
Mark 10
Other European or USA brands (help!)

Edit:

V2
Halo
Smokeless Image
Volt
Smoov
Moon Mountain Capsule

Let’s start with a classic: Ovale eMini AKA JoyeTech eRoll (and the perhaps not-so-classic eRoll-C).

Launched in 2013, many ex-users have lamented the passing of the eRoll – but it's still alive and well in other parts of the world either in original or clone form. It just happens that fewer Western sellers are bringing it in anymore, most likely due to the introduction of newer or more home grown cigalike brands.

Known for its tiny size, distinctive metal body, refillable tanks, use of eGo-C atomisers, and surprisingly good performance (debateable), the eRoll and eRoll-C was also popular for their stylish 1000 mAh PCC that looked like a certain minimalist cell phone.

V2, Halo, and Migcig are the 3 in the US considered the top of the line.

Smokeless Image Volt Cig a likes <3 They are what got me started on this crazy wonderful journey.

+1 for Volt.........good stuff......

Cheers folks these have been added to the list.

Blu is owned by Imperial Tobacco. Formerly owned by R.J. Reynolds. How many of these other cigalikes are owned by BT companies. And go...

I know the iQos and Mark 10 are by the Altria Group which used to be called Phillip Morris.

Does anyone still make M401/2/3 models? I'd love one for the nostalgia of my first vape. I wish eRolls were still available in the UK. I quite like my Magnum Snaps, for situations when my pipes or iJust are too obtrusive.

I might snag my other half's XTC3 now she's gone over to the iJusts.

M401/2/3 models are still available to buy in bulk from overseas. And if you head over to Ovale Europe's site they are selling an eRoll double kit with PCC for just £21.99 - but it's called the eMini Double Kit. Some say Ovale invented the eMini which Joyetech then copied as the eRoll...but let's not get into that!

I was so tempted to get a Joecig XT-C 3 until I found out it only charges one ecig at a time and the coil is quite high resistance at 2.2 ohm iirc.

The eRoll was so popular and influential that it immediately spawned a few clones. Let’s take a look at one of them

Kamry K500 c.2013 (?)

Same as the eRoll except for the KR808 connection

Here’s a demo from Kamry

Wow, such an interesting way to vape.. and this eRoll clone has vapour coming from the hole at the tip..?

…but actual reviews are not so good:

Kamry K500
Joyetech Eroll, vs K500 knock off

So it seems that if you take the K500 silicon cartridge and put it on an eRoll battery you have a winner!
