Barcelona have confirmed that Paco Alcacer will be out for three weeks after he was forced off in the first half of the club’s clash with Deportivo La Coruna on Sunday.

Alcacer will definitely miss the Clasico next weekend and possibly the first leg of the Copa del Rey clash with Celta Vigo on January 4.

However, the club are hopeful he could return for the Liga game against Levante in January.

The striker has a “muscle injury in his left leg” and although it’s not too serious, it’s real bad luck for Alcacer who is enjoying a decent season at Camp Nou.
