“My name is Mirabel, a 25-year-old lady. I graduated from the university two years ago, and currently, work in an advertising firm in Lagos.

Right now, I am very confused and do now know what steps to take after I caught my own mother red handed with my dad’s best friend and business partner.

I have confided in my close friend but she told me to keep quiet about it so that I would not cause a friction in our home but believe me, dad does not deserve this and has always been a good man.

I remember that day vividly like it happened yesterday. I had gone to visit a sick colleague who lived in the Lekki area where my father’s friend,, lives.

After spending some time with my friend, I decided to pop in and see , Uncle Bayo’s daughter who is my friend.

On opening the gate, , their security man, told me that Yetunde was out but that Uncle Bayo was inside with a guest.

I went in to greet him, sure that he would surely ‘dash’ me some money like he always does. I have always had a free access to the house and I just opened the door and barged in and what did I see?

My own mother whom I left at home when I went for work, was right on top of Uncle Bayo and anyone who saw them would know what they had been up to. She was partly naked and Uncle Bayo had only his boxer shorts on.

When I saw them, I screamed at the top of my voice and they scrambled apart. That was the last thing I knew as I slumped and only woke up in a hospital.

Since then, I have developed so much hatred for my mother and Uncle Bayo and do not wish to have anything to do with them. Dad knows there is something wrong and has been trying to get me to confide in him but I keep holding back.

Mom on her part has been trying to talk to me but I do not want to enter any discussion with her. I still believe the best thing is to tell dad.
