Viewers were shocked and amused by the video. John Martell commented: “Wonder if insurance will cover this?”

Durand Dace recognised the pun potential, writing: “‘Whatcha doin’?’ ‘Oh, just lion on this Honda.’”

This sea lion isn’t the only animal to cause a stir.

A video of a cute seal has captured the internet. It tried to roll over, but there was a surprise in store for the large mammal.

Uploaded to Imgur, the footage showed the seal start to roll before totally losing control.

The animal rolled over and over multiple times, unable to stop or slow down, until it reached the beach metres below.

It appeared to be pulled along by its own body weight, which had too much inertia for the poor seal to stop until it reached leveller ground.

The video has gone viral, with more than 4,000,000 times at the time of writing.

The title expresses what the seal was probably thinking at the time: "Ahh… let me just roll over and… oh… cr*p! Damn it! Ow!"
