Also, and so you get a sense that there is life after such a massive event, we are already looking forward to our own mega-production, the Lisbon Investment Summit (in our 2017 edition we brought over 700 startups to Lisbon, with 50% of them looking for early stage seed investments)
When you see companies like Mercedes Daimler, Zalando, Pipedrive, Amazon and Uber betting heavily on new offices, digital innovation hubs and operation centers in Lisbon, that’s what we call “validation”. So, if you’re curious about understanding why it’s a sound bet and how it can be done, guess where you should be in early June?
I almost forgot: we are also launching the next edition of our flagship program, the Lisbon Challenge, “the first money in, and last partner out, for great founders”… If you think you’ve seen Lisbon at its best, we can assure you that we’re just getting started!
Cheers,
Hugo
P.S.: Next time we bump into each other, be sure to smile. If you do, you’re automatically invited to our Thank God It’s Friday event, every Friday after 18h00, week in, week in.
