He’s a star dog: Boxer with David Bowie eyes becomes internet sensation

A STRAY boxer has become one of Britain's most unusual rescue dogs thanks to its odd-coloured eyes and unique jaw.

Record breaker: Meet the dog with the world's LONGEST tail

Fester the one-year-old puppy was abandoned by his owner and found wandering the streets as a stray.

He was born with a narrow jaw which causes his lower teeth to protrude more than they normally would.

And the bouncy pup also has one dark and one light eye - with staff at Dogs Trust in Darlington, County Durham, calling him the UK's "quirkiest" looking

Neither of Fester's 'special' features carry any health implications and the Dogs Trust is now looking for a home for the unique animal.

Sue Embleton, Rehoming Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Darlington, said: "Fester is a gorgeous boy with an amazing character, so we can't imagine why anyone wouldn't want him as part of their family.

"Fester loves being around people and much prefers human companionship than that of other dogs.

Fester's eyes and jaw thankfuly have no impact on his health

"We definitely believe he would benefit from an adult only home, with no other pets, so he can soak up all the attention for himself.

"At meal times Fester can get carried away as he loves his food and has a tendency to forget his manners, so a little training will also be required."
