"They are a form of extension that you clip into your hair," she explained. "They are not a weave, they are not a wig . . . they're clips." Zendaya also briefly demonstrated how the clipping mechanism works.

Zendaya explained that tracks — a section of hair — can be made into clips or can be taped or sewn into hair.

Perhaps the most misunderstood type of styling method, weaves are created by braiding the natural hair, then tucking it under a net, which is sewn to your head. Tracks are then woven onto the net. According to Zendaya, it can be worn for about a month depending on your hair's needs, but it must be redone. "You can't have it on forever, because that is disgusting," the star said.

Zendaya is known for switching up her strands using wigs (remember this mullet moment from the 2016 Grammys?). She shared that she believes lacefront wigs are the best type "when it comes to full coverage and looking natural." This style can be applied with tape or glue.
