Kendall Jenner Thinks This Young Model Is Her Biggest Competition

Kendall Jenner is a pro in front of the camera. What you may not know, however, is that she's also an experienced photographer. Kendall had the chance to exercise her photography skills by shooting Kaia Gerber for Love Magazine's "The Fans Issue." The two are already friends IRL so what do you get when you pair a young up-and-coming model with an It model? Magic.

During the shoot, Kendall even shared that Kaia will one day become a friendly rival in the industry: "She's getting more beautiful, which I did not even think was possible. Listen, we're all trying to get all our work in now before she hits the scene. When that happens we'll all go broke!"

This coming from Kendall, who has walked the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show (twice), landed major campaigns like Marc Jacobs, and launched her own fashion line is, well, one of the highest forms of praise. Kendall Shot the Young Model For Love Magazine's AW '16 Issue

Kendall actually picked Kaia for the photo shoot, telling the magazine, "I’ve gotten to know her a bit and she really is such a great young girl with such a good head on her shoulders. You could say I’m a fan of hers, and I would love to see her succeed. This for me was so cool because it really does come full circle: her mom was my idol; I’m shooting my idol’s daughter. I think she has a very bright future. And for me to be able to say in the future 'I shot the young Kaia Gerber' will be so cool!"

Kaia Then Revealed That Kendall Was Actually Her Role Model

"It just felt like two friends hanging out, snapping a few photos at candid moments," Kaia said. "Kendall told me that my mom is one of the people she looks up to most, and it’s cool to see it come full circle because Kendall is a role model for me."

For Love Magazine's #LoveMe17, Kaia Once Again Graced the Cover

Kendall revealed what it was like working with Kaia a year later, saying, "I feel like even between the first time I shot her and now she has grown a lot. She has definitely matured in terms of how she is in front of the camera. She's in her prime, both physically and mentally. She's getting more beautiful, which I did not even think was possible. Listen, we're all trying to get all our work in now before she hits the scene. When that happens we'll all go broke!"
