Real time rendered animation before Eevee | A Dançar

Hey,
A new short animation, totally made with Blender (no other software was used for the graphics) was recently released by it Producer André Santos.
André Santos made all the sound for it wile me and my wife made all the graphics and animation.

It was rendered using 3 render engines:

  • The scenery uses bakes from Cycles,
  • The characters run in real time using the 3D viewport GLSL, along side with the baked walls.
  • In the end was added a freestyle pass for the line contours.

Except for the Freestyle pass, all the short runs exactly as seen in the video, on the Blender 2.79 3D viewport, GLSL mode at 24fps. Reflections and "Special effects" ( they are more tricks :P ) run all in real time.

Sound waves and character movements were all synchronized in the attempt of making something not that often seen :) It was entirely filmed in stereoscopic 3D, at 4K, but that version should only be released during the next weeks.

Hope you like it and any comment is very welcome.
Best regards
