Grand Theft Auto 5 has claimed the top spot on the UK physical sales chart for the second week in a row, according to sales monitor Chart-Track.

For the week ending January 21, GTA 5 outsold both FIFA 17 (No. 2) and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare (No. 3). Battlefield 1 and Watch Dogs 2 finish the week at No. 4 and No. 5 respectively, despite the latter suffering disappointing initial sales when it released in November 2016.

Steep is another Ubisoft game that places well following poor launch sales--it continues to climb the charts to No. 7. The publisher said in November that "high-quality" games were moving toward lower sales on release but then experiencing "stronger and longer 'tails' as favorable reviews and word of mouth spread."

Grand Theft Auto 5, meanwhile, has now sold over six million units in the UK alone. It was recently revealed that it outsold Uncharted 4: A Thief's End in the UK last year, while it was also reportedly the fourth most-played game on Steam in 2016.

Take a look at the full top ten below. This table does not include digital sales data, and thus should not be considered representative of all UK game sales.

  2. FIFA 17
  3. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
  4. Battlefield 1
  5. Watch Dogs 2
  6. Rocket League
  7. Steep
  8. Forza Horizon 3
  9. Mafia III
