Written on a Barcelona rooftop when Elli Shoemaker was pregnant, “Benestar“ (Catalan for ‘well being’) is a record about life – and a gift to our son.

Endless thanks to Michael Linnen (drums/guitars) and Tyler Mallory (bass/knobs) for backing the project and making this labor of love a reality.

Club Natacio is a boutique record label for homecore artists making heartfelt music.

  4. I’m excited to announce my new album, Benestar, and start sharing it with you.

Written on a Barcelona rooftop while my wife was pregnant, Benestar (the Catalan word for ‘well being’) is a catharsis about infertility struggles, commitment, birth, and life – and a gift to my son.

I’ll be releasing it over the coming months, culminating with a vinyl release in 2018. In the meantime, the track “Hearts & Minds” is available for streaming and download at soundcloud.com/taylorho/hearts-and-minds.

Please share with anyone who loves spacey, hi-fi/lo-fi indie rock and thanks for listening!

  8. New Fra[mes] pieces are done.

“Utilizing the intricate craftsmanship of framemaking in the context of contemporary art, antique frames are filled with their own content using custom molds built from digital processes. Fra[mes] is a collaboration between algorithm, artist, and master craftsman, which not only bridges the gap between digital media and old-world craftsmanship, but gives the computer an equal hand in the creative process.” (Ongoing)
