First off, after 40 hours of research and testing, Courtney Schley at The Sweethome suggests you’re better off with a heated mattress pad instead of an electric blanket. Which isn’t too surprising considering heated pads are more efficient at warming your body, and your bedding helps insulate the heat they provide. If you’re looking to buy, The Sweethome recommends you go with one of two models from Sunbeam, particularly the Premium Quilted and standard Quilted models.
