Cindy W LOVED IT - Absolutely amazing & very telling that these ladies were geniuses - I’m happy they received the recognition they truly deserved!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/28/21 Full Review Eye C It's such an uplifting movie, with its injustices here and there, but at the end is just lovely. One of my favorites. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/04/24 Full Review Penelope V Wow. Made me want to work harder towards being a space scientist even more. Super inspiring! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/24 Full Review Nathan V Hidden Figures is a good movie because of its : cinematography, acting , and script. For example when Katherine explained why she always take a long time to get to the bathroom and to come back to the office. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/31/24 Full Review Chris R Hidden Figures is a movie filled with emotional and overcoming moments. Throughout the movie, it continuously showed the accomplishments of these three ladies that underwent extreme prejudice towards their coworkers, to end up being the reason why the mission went so smoothly. I enjoy this movie as it is visually beautiful, as it perfectly portrays the time period, with the activities they participated in and the clothes they wore. For example, when they had a cook out, I felt as if i was in the movie, eating at that cookout. I also enjoy the math that was used to find out the landing of Astronaut John Glen. I didn't understand a single bit of it, but I did like seeing Katherine make those computations that led up to the answer that was so desperately needed. I would recommend this movie as it perfectly encapsulates this time period of prejudice and how important these three ladies were to sending John Allen to space, as well as the civil rights movement.
