International superstar violinist Assia Ahhatt and Humberto Gatica go ‘All-In’
What makes you fall in love with a song? Energy, the beat, perfect sonics, emotion? It’s amazing how a well-arranged string element brings all of that together for a joint. Ukrainian violinist Assia Ahhatt has the sonic punch of a full string section that got the holy ghost and creative mastermind Humberto Gatica crafted the perfect platform with Assia entitled, All-In; an extravaganza of new arrangements and covers of a selection of global smash hits.

“Seize the Day Entertaining” recently announced the worldwide release of ALL-IN by the exotic violinist from Ukraine, Assia Ahhatt. Assia partnered with legendary producer and creative genius Humberto Gatica, known for his work with Cher, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Micheal Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, Julio Iglesias, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand, in this unique musical collaboration.
ALL-IN features 13 new arrangements and covers of some of the world’s most loved iconic songs. The instrumentation of the arrangements incorporates a live orchestra with pop elements mixed throughout.
Songs include Viva la Vida (Coldplay), S.O.S. (ABBA)
The Hype Magazine was among the audience as Assia Ahhatt commanded the stage of the Sofitel at Beverly Hills for a dazzling performance for an enthralled audience. The evening’s performance of Tears in Heaven, dedicated to those suffering the effects of recent natural disasters and tragedies, moved the entire room gaining an ovation from the appreciative crowd. Assia masterfully brought the room back to the party with the arrangement and energy of Move Like Jagger which prompted a couple of groovers to encroach on her performance space bringing an entirely new dimension to the evening.
If ever a project under GRAMMY consideration deserved a 5/5 for being the magical musical journey it is, Assia Ahhatt and Humberto Gatica have given it to us with All-In ~ JD

International contemporary violinist Assia Ahhatt brought down the house on Thursday, October 12 when she performed at an exclusive showcase event in celebration of the worldwide release of “ALL-IN.” The exotic violinist from Ukraine Assia Ahhatt partnered with legendary producer and creative genius Humberto Gatica, known for his work with Cher, Celine Dion, Josh Groban, Michael Bublé, Andrea Bocelli, Julio Iglesias, Tina Turner, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson and Barbra Streisand, in this unique musical collaboration.
Joining Assia Ahhatt and Humberto Gatica was music industry executives, media, tastemakers, and celebrities, including actress/producer Kimmarie Johnson, Alice Amter (Big Bang Theory), E! founder Larry Namer and Sophie Gayot (Gayot Guides), and many others.
Assia, who performed live five songs from “ALL-IN,” was warmly welcomed by the packed house at the by-invitation-only event, receiving wonderful reviews and feedback on her work.

About Assia Ahhatt – Classically-trained musician Assia has performed across multiple musical genres for international and U.S. audiences. A violin prodigy by the age of five, she won several European competitions and was one of the youngest soloists in the Ukrainian National Philharmonic. Later, Assia combined her singing and songwriting talents to embark on a successful solo music career.
Over the years she has been invited to perform with top Western artists, including Chris Botti, Kurt Elling, Marc O’Connor, Jean-Luc Ponty, Pierre Blanchard, Eric Serra and Dire Straits Experience, as well participated in festivals with music icons Robert Plant and Mark Knopfler.
Assia’s discography consists of solo concert appearances around the globe, with 30 videos among her eight internationally-acclaimed albums. In 2013, together with vocal coach Seth Riggs, she recorded the chart-topping U.S debut single, If Only Tonight, that reached #1 on several Billboard’s charts and was featured on the National Dance Club Chart for several weeks.
Next, her explosive violin solo paired with English language vocals formed the centerpiece of the duet Fiesta in San Juan with Puerto Rican rapper WISIN. The dynamic video of Assia together with WISIN’s interplay in Spanish was filmed in Old San Juan and was produced and directed by Hollywood music video director Jessy Terrero. The single spent several weeks on Billboard’s Latin Tropical Chart, while the remix quickly reached Top 20 National Dance Club status.
