密閉感とノイキャン性能が非常に良い。
動画がやや遅延をするので、動画を視聴メインに考えているいるのなら検討が必要。

[装着感]
パッドが耳を完全に覆うため、耳がつぶれて痛くなったりということがない。
ほどよい強さの締め付けで密閉感がある。
この装着感がまず他のメーカとも比べて質が高いと感じる。

[ノイズキャンセリング]
電車の中などでのノイズ除去機能が素晴らしい。
ノイズキャンセリング機能を解除すると、この騒音を押さえていたのかと驚くレベル。
ノイズが軽減されているので、音量を上げすぎずに音楽を楽しむことができる。

[Bluetooth接続]
iPhone 6とiPad mini 4と接続して使用。
いずれも接続はスムーズでストレス無く使用できる。

[動画視聴]
気になるレベルの遅延が発生することがある。
その時々で遅延具合に差があるが、Bluetooth接続での動画視聴をメインで考えているなら、購入は推奨しない。

[ハンズフリー通話]
iPhoneのハンズフリー機能、話すのも聞くのも非常にクリア。
電話を手に持たず、またコードなども気にせずに通話できるのはとても便利。

2ヶ月ぐらいで電源ボタンを押しても電源が入らなくなり壊れました。商品そのものは良かったのに残念です。保証期間中だったのですが買った日にちを証明するのがなく適用されなく今も壊れたままです。

ソニーの安価（３０００円ほど）のノイズキャンセリングヘッドホンを使っていましたが、
海外出張に行くことになり、飛行機の中で使用するためにこちらに買い替えしました。

買い換えて正解でした。とても満足しています。

少しかさばりますが、低価格ヘッドホンのノイズキャンセリング機能とは雲泥の差で、
騒音が低減されて機内でも快適に音楽を聴くことができました。
１４時間ほど電源つけっぱなしでも電池が切れることはなく、長時間つけていてもそれほど耳も痛くなりませんでした。

Estos audífonos en diadema sin cable son de lo mejor que hay en la categoría de cancelación de ruido con bluetooth sin tener que llegar a los precios de los Bose o de los Sennheiser. La cancelación de ruido es muy buena, y son de los pocos en que puedes poner o quitar el NC (cancelación de ruido) puesto que en algunos esta función esta instalada todo el tiempo y puede ser molesto para personas sensibles. Los compré por que hay un edificio en construcción junto a mi casa y trabajan largas horas hasta los fines de semana. La verdad los tengo desde hace 4 meses y me han salido buenísimos, me estaba esperando para hacer el comentario habiendo utilizado un poco el producto. Solo veo algunas cosas que creo se podrían mejorar. Me preocupa el acabado satinado, no sé si con el tiempo el efecto mate satinado se va a ir borrando en las zonas donde tenga mas fricción la diadema o por contacto con mis manos. Me preocupan las colchonetas de memory foam por que el material que las envuelve, del mismo color turquesa se ve bien delgado y frágil, y aunque es super cómodo, no he encontrado en ningún lado que vendan repuestos del mismo color, y para unos audífonos de este precio, es obvio que no me pienso comprar otros en un buen rato y deberían de vender repuestos originales y estoy segura de que se van a romper después de un tiempo de uso. Otra cosa que puede ser un tema importante es que el bluetooth no funciona del todo bien enlazando equipo no tan nuevo, es decir, por ejemplo, yo tengo una computadora macbook pro, la ya discontinuada, y la señal es bastante mala, hay que estar a menos de 3 metros y de frente a la compu para recibir la señal sin interrupción, sin embargo, también lo enlacé con un iPad mini, en la oficina, más nuevo y en el iPad se puede uno ir a diferentes pisos en un edificio, a incluso mas de 25 metros de distancia y no se pierde la señal ni atravesando puertas ni paredes. Me pregunto si esto es por que la calidad del bluetooth mejoró en el equipo donde fue enlazada la diadema. También hay que apagar el bluetooth en el aparato que vas a dejar de enlazar y prender el nuevo para que no se quede enlazado al anterior, en lugar de solo abrir el bluetooth del que vas a usar ahora, lo que hace que tengas que hacer dos pasos el proceso para poder usar el equipo, cuando otros audífonos lo hacen automáticamente, pero no es un problema grave, puesto si se trata del único aparato en la habitación, se va a tratar de enlazar automáticamente a ese, pero si hay dos, se va a enlazar al último con que estuvo enlazado. Ahora lo bueno: La presentación es excelente, vienen en una caja hermosa, y en un estuche de tela con cierre que aunque no tiene una sección para los cables está muy bien hecho y es bastante sólido. La diadema se puede compactar al plegarse en si misma y tiene los cables por si prefieres esa opción, por cierto no se puede ocupar mientras se cargan, pero la batería dura mas de 20 horas, los he usado por una semana seguida sin necesitar recargar la batería. El lado izq tiene el encendido y el NC y el derecho tiene en botones las funciones de avanzar, pausa, detener, volumen etc, que cuesta un poco aprender cual es cual a tientas, pero con un par de veces te acostumbras a la sensibilidad y localización de los botones y son muy prácticos. La parte de arriba de la diadema tiene un acolchado que va en contacto con la cabeza, que no es su mejor característica pero está bien y la diadema se puede alargar en dos secciones para hacerse más grande con "clics", y es bastante resistente puesto que tiene una base interna metálica. Los dos audífonos se mueven un poco en su propio eje para adaptarse a la curva de la cabeza atrapando las orejas, lo que ayuda a bloquear mejor el sonido externo. Las funciones las dice una voz femenina como "battery medium" o como "bluetooth connected" que no es nada molesta una vez que te acostumbras y no hay forma de quitar esta función. También son super cómodos, como cubren el pabellón auricular (nota: seguramente no el de todas las personas, yo tengo orejas pequeñas y me cubre completamente) y por tal razón el sonido es muy envolvente. No filtra todos los sonidos, lo cual también es bueno, por ejemplo, no escuchas sonidos como mosquitos, taladros, nada con pitch muy agudo pero si algunos graves. Los golpes de martillos y construcción se escuchan solo si son muy muy fuertes y muy cercanos, la construcción de junto de mi casa la filtra en un 90% a 95% dependiendo del día diría yo. Tampoco filtra voces totalmente, si alguien te habla directamente se escucha bien, algo bajo pero bien. Yo los utilice en un avión y filtró un 80% del sonido de las turbinas, haciendo el viaje muy agradable, pero también en una cafeteria se escuchaba un poco las voces de la gente sin ser desagradable. Finalmente, algo que me encantó es el hecho de que se pueden usar sin sonido de audio alguno(ni música ni voz) solo con función la cancelación de ruido prendida para no escuchar el entorno, lo que los hace muy aptos para personas con problemas de procesamiento sensorial como con deficit de atención, autismo o simplemente personas muy sensibles al ruido que quieren aislarse un rato del mundo sin estar escuchando algo más necesariamente. El NC funciona contrarrestando los sonidos exteriores con un sonido de baja intensidad que anula el sonido exterior y algunas personas muy sensibles lo perciben, en el caso de estos audífonos a veces se percibe y a veces no, y depende mucho de la persona, pero en mi opinion no es molesto. No son molestos utilizando lentes, yo los ocupo por largas horas con mis gafas puestas y no me estorban, solo después de unas horas se siente un poco de presión en la parte superior de la diadema. En resumen yo si los recomiendo, me han funcionado muy bien, pero lo ideal es ir a una tienda Sony a probarlos para ves que tan cómodos son y si su cumplen con sus expectativas y necesidades.
***Nota: absolutamente nadie me pagó por mi comentario ni tampoco me hicieron un descuento en nada por escribirlo, lo escribí, por que busqué por mucho tiempo y no encontré nada completo que hablara de este modelo en particular cuando los iba a comprar y me hubiera gustado que alguien me ayudara en mi decisión. ;)

I've had this for over a year now. It works great for listening to my internet radio stations like France Bleu and FIP. The DAC makes speech on internet radio sound good. This is also my daily driver for work and the gym. I bought the extended warranty plan just in case and this has held up numerous instances of me throwing the headphones in my gym bag.

Got these when they were on sale for about $179. After about a month of using them and comparing them with the QC35, I think these are a better overall value.

QC35 definitely has the better ANC in terms of cancelling out more sound, but for me the ANC was too oppressive and did give me mild vertigo (YMMV). The ABN100s' ANC is probably about 95% of the way there in comparison, but you can still hear specific high pitch/ranged sounds. Fans/cars/most things melt away when the ANC is on. I did notice that when I was using them in a cafe to study, the conversations of the table next to me was not very muted initially, but after ~2 min (along with playing some tunes) they were eventually drowned out. I heard somewhere about the ANC actively analyzes the environment you're in and changes based on that, and from my use it seems to be that way, but not entirely sure if it's 100% true or not. The only real issue with the ANC on this headset is when you're walking in windy environments, the mics pick up the wind and amplify them. Some people have said putting some tape over the mics helps, but I just turn off the NC and it still sounds fine to me.

Comfort wise, the QC35s are the winner in this regard. It's not to say that the ABN100s are super uncomfortable, but they definitely have a firmer squeeze on your head. Despite being a lighter headset, the weight distribution is not as neat as the QC35s. Depending on how much body heat you emit, the pads can get a bit warm (wouldn't recommend these for the gym, they'll get sweaty fast).

ABN100s have a better sound in comparison to the QC35s IMHO. I'm not an audiophile, so take what I'm saying with a grain of salt. The soundstage is just fuller and more vibrant, and nothing overpowers anything else. There doesn't seem to be any real compression as opposed to the QC35s, but I guess that's the trade off you make depending on your level of ANC. If you do have a Sony device that supports hi-res/LDAC, there is supposedly a noticeable difference.

Build quality seems to be good so far, but as I've only had them for a month, it's hard to say. Everything feels sturdy, and despite being made out of plastic (with exceptions to the earpads/headband), it doesn't look cheap. I haven't had any creaking issues yet, but am keeping an ear out for them. I do think they look pretty fun, and they do come in a bunch of colors (I got the viridian blue and it looks great)! I do wish the ear pads would swivel flat though, makes hanging them around my neck a bit tougher than I'd like.

Other convenient/fun things that these cans provide are:
- NFC pairing (very easy to pair with most Android/Windows phones)
- long battery life (I got ~20-22 hrs at medium volume with ANC on), the ability to turn off the ANC even while powered on (very easy to have conversations!)
- an extra 3.5mm cable so you can use it wired/powered off (wouldn't recommend powered off, it sounds incredibly tinny)
- a rigid carrying case
- on-heaphone control
- micro-usb charging (does take a really long time, 5-6 hrs).

Be warned that the ABN100s can only remember one device at a time so you do have to un-pair it if you want to link it to something else. NFC does help a lot in this case.

If you need the absolute best in ANC and comfort, the QC35s (or even the MDR-1000x which has better sound quality than the QC35s) are the way to go. If you want a pair of headphones that are comfortable, can cancel out 90-95% of sounds, and sound great (along with all the fun things it comes with) for a little bit over/under half the price of both the QC35s and MDR-1000x, go with this.

It took me a few years to get here and I'm here to tell you that this is one of the best sounding wireless headphones out there and stellar noise cancelling feature without the heavy pressure on your ear drums (synonymous with the Bose QC35)
Let's start with looks and feel. The headphones feel solid. I did listen to the MDR1000X and it is well on par except with the added features of gesture controls, ambient noise and fold-flat mainly. The ear cups are a bit deeper compared to the MDR1000X so you ears don't touch the inside of the headphone cups. I do like the semi matte finish giving it a professional look. The toggle button for the music controls is amazing and I wonder why other headphones do not have it. This headphone does not fold flat, but twists a bit to conform to your ears. I would have loved that feature but I found some people were having issues with the MDR1000X breaking up in the twisting section. I didn't see any issues relating to this for the MDR-100ABN. These are also very comfy on your ears even with glasses. Very very comfortable.
Now, the sound coming the MDR-100ABN will absolutely blow you away. I won't get to the specifics as there are numerous online reviews on this. For all of you that have android phones, I would highly recommend you download the Poweramp music player as it takes this headphone to a whole new other level. I'm not advertising for Poweramp but I'm very particular about my music and having been through quite a bit of music players, Poweramp beats the competition hands down. (Poweramp is not available on iPhone) What blew me away was the noise cancelling feature without the heavy pressure on your ear drums. Really great and that pressure is always non-existent. I take the commuter and subway trains to/from work and these fared absolutely well. This was one feature that a lot of headphones are missing plus there is no difference in the sound quality when it is on or off.
I've traded my Bose Soundlink for these as I could not find a true wireless noise cancelling headphones with superb qualities. If you are looking for no frills headphones with excellent sound quality, stellar noise cancelling feature without the heavy pressure on your ear drums, don't mind the non folding flat and solid build, this is the one.
With over 20+ hours of playtime, you have plenty of time to recharge in between. I saw some people complaining about the lack of low power notifications. While it doesn't do that, there is a flashing red light by the power button when the battery is low. Also, at any time during listening, press the power button momentarily and a very nice lady with voice prompt will tell you the status of the battery.
Update 09/15/2017 - The first time I connected the headphones via bluetooth, I had intermittent connectivity. I even returned the first one and bought another one only to find out the following. Sony has 'Priority on sound quality' or 'Priority on stable connection' modes, with default connection on the first mode when initially connected. See link http://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/100abn/v1/en/contents/TP0001034995.html on how to change to stable connection especially if you don't have LDAC connection.
I also love the noise cancelling feature as I get to interact with it even more. Keeping in mind that it does not totally eliminate outside noise. It constantly analyzes environmental ambient sound components and automatically selects the most effective noise canceling mode.
Update 09/24/2017 - it's not the headphones, it's the darn case. The case that comes with the headphones shape like a pancake football to the point that I can never hold the case without slipping and the cover material made it worse. I ended up purchasing one that is a full case ballistic nylon one.
