AMAZING optical illusion shows couple FLYING across the beach
A BREATH-TAKING video on Imgur, which has gone viral, seems to show two people zooming across the sand as if flying though the air.
The video has confused viewers, as it appears to show the impossible – two people flying across a beach.
But all is not what it seems. What at first looks like a couple moving forward across the sand turns out to be the sand moving backwards towards the couple, blown by the wind.
However, it’s very hard to see what’s really going on until the end of the video.
It’s only towards the end of the footage, when it’s possible to see the sand finish moving, that it becomes clear what’s going on.

The video was uploaded to Imgur, where many users were impressed or intrigued by the post.
One commented: “I don’t know what’s happening but it looks awesome.” Another wrote: “Bamboozled again!”
Some even thought it was created by technology rather than nature, with one user commenting: “Neat green screen effect.”
Others suspected magical involvement. “At first glance - WIZARDS!” wrote one impressed viewer.
The internet was recently confused by another optical illusion involving camels walking across the desert.
While at first glance it appears that the camels are walking normally across the landscape, in actual fact what we see as camels are shadows.
As the sun is so low in the sky, the shadows of the camels are stretched out along the sand, looking like the bodies.
The real camels can actually be seen as white slivers below the shadows.

Another picture that went viral showed six girls who’d got together for a festive drink – but something was very odd about the image.
At first glance it seems perfectly normal, but upon closer inspection it seems that while there are six girls, there are only five sets of legs.
The girl on the far left of the image appears to have one knee over the other and a rip in her black jeans.
However, the girl behind her is actually the girl with the the rip in her knee, with the two limbs blending together.
