Ben Siverman’s Propagate has nabbed two more buzzy podcasts, “Sword and Scale” and “Up and Vanished,” that it will set up as TV projects. They follow in the footsteps of “Lore,” which Silverman and Propagate co-CEO Howard T. Owens launched as a series at Amazon and which received strong reviews. Silverman told Variety about the next two podcast-to-TV projects.

“Sword and Scale” is a true-crime podcast created by Mike Boudet, who hosts the show. It launched in 2014 and has registered as part of Hernan Lopez’s Fox-backed podcast network, Wondery. With real-life crime in vogue after “Serial,” “Sword and Scale” has fared well on the podcast charts and now runs to more than 100 episodes.

“Up and Vanished” also falls in the true-crime category. In the show, host Payne Lindsey investigated the disappearance of high school teacher Tara Grinstead, unearthing new evidence that prompted arrests in the case. Lindsey is now seeking funding for a second season of his show, which would focus on another cold case.

There are no confirmed TV or streaming partners yet, but “Up and Vanished” is likely to end up on an SVOD platform and “Sword and Scale” on a cable network.

Propagate is hoping to repeat the success of “Lore,” the horror anthology it adapted as a six-part series for Amazon, with series host Aaron Mahnke and Valhalla Entertainment. Gale Ann Hurd (“The Walking Dead”) exec-produced that show.

The series explored the real-life origins of horror-genre staples and was available on Amazon’s streaming service in the U.S. and internationally.
