Leading up to the release of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Marvel Comics is printing special variant covers for some of their main comic book titles that feature some of the characters from the game. PreviewsWorld has released another handful of covers that give us a potential look at what's to come.

The issues include here are as follows: Mighty Thor #22, Generations Unworthy Thor & Mighty Thor #1, Venom #153, Amazing Spider-Man #31, and Spider-Man #19.

As one would expect, several of Marvel's A-listers are featured on these variants, however, we do see a handful of characters that we have not seen in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Front and center on the Mighty Thor #22 piece we see Jane Foster, also known as Female Thor. There have been no rumblings of her inclusion in MvCI as a playable character so far, but due to the character's popularity, it wouldn't be surprising to see her join the fray.

On that same cover we see Capcom's own Firebrand from Ghouls 'n Ghosts. As we know, Firebrand was a playable character in Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, MvCI's predecessor, and considering how many characters from the previous game have made a return this time around, the flying demon seems like a likely addition.

This is actually the second time we've seen Firebrand on one of these special Marvel Comics covers. In the last batch, we saw both Firebrand and Dormammu take center stage on the cover of Spider-Man / Deadpool #20.

We also see Miles Morales' Spider-Man on the cover of Spider-Man #19. We recently witnessed the reveal of the web-slinger in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, however, he takes after the Peter Parker iteration of the character. Perhap's Miles will be some sort of DLC costume down the road.

You can check out each of the covers below. Let us know what you think they may be pointing to for the future of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite.
