Curiosity got the better of me, and I've decided to re-read this one. I'm actually enjoying it a lot more this time and feel almost as though I've matured into appreciating the style of writing it contains. (Even though I am a similar age to Chance when he disappeared!). It's a really long book, so I might end up struggling again, but currently I feel a lot more positive about the story.

Urgh - I've just discovered how unending this series appears to be. Over 20 books featuring Sal and/or Iris? No way am I getting myself into that mess. Looks like this will stay a DNF.

**************
I so wanted to like this book, the blurb ticked so many boxes for me but the execution left so much to be desired. At 26% into the book there had only been 2 significant events (New Orleans and Sal's breakdown at the party) and a vague bit of information linking Chance to Juliet. At this point I didn't know if he'd attended, had worked there, run it or what. I felt that I could have read the blurb, skipped ALL of this part and not have missed much.

I also found the author's style of writing incredibly difficult to read/follow and found myself constantly going back over parts of this book. Personally I found it disjointed and confusing. Iris first meets Sal in a barn at a 'tea party' but his name wasn't mentioned. When she meets him again it took me ages to link the Sal being spoken about to the unnamed guy in the barn - in a book that skipped around as it was this just threw me out of it.

I didn't connect with Iris either, I found nothing warm, friendly or appealing about her. In fact very few characters appealed to me in this book, which on top of it's length made it very difficult for me to read. I kept skim reading parts, to try and speed things up, and when I did 'delve in' it felt like wading through thick molasses.

My recommendation, if the blurb sounds interesting, is to download a sample of the book and form your own opinion. I wish I could find something positive to say about the book but it just didn't work for me.

"More than words."
There are fabulous stories, and stories that will consume you. Juliet definitely is one of these all-consuming books. Welcome to Sugargrove, open the doors of the Juliet BDSM Academy and explore a world of fantasies through the eyes of Sal and Iris.

I've been curious about this book since I started reading this author's work, now I know it will remain at the top of my KRS shelf.

The astounding realism of the characters' psychological journey is truly and experience in itself. As Iris decided to take a chance at something different, forbidden and delicious after her husband passed, she showed a strength and a fight I absolutely loved. Sal's scarred soul captivated me. He infuriated me and at the same time I cried with him and succumbed to his hypnotic charm. To watch him grow into a dominant and struggle with his emotions, dancing that intense, intimate, raw and heartwrenching tango with Iris touched me.
“Because you should give your submission to someone who is in love with you. And that isn't me.”

That is an epic love story, the range of emotions immersed me in this intriguing world. From loneliness to sorrow, from love to hate, guilt, shame, lust, and vulnerabiltily, the emotional rollercoaster sent me reeling.
"Love does leave, but you only leave the love if you run away."

Through a delicious atmosphere, a poetic style, Juliet is a story about characters finding themselves, and each other. This is a long book, a masterpiece composed by multiple works of art. Every party or scene is a piece, colorful and intense, vibrant with sensations and emotions, painting a sublime erotic visual.

But beyond this journey, you'll also discover, in true Kailee Reese Samuel's fashion, that everything runs deeper than you thought.
This book is brilliant, let yourself be caught up in its whirlwind, you wont regret it!

I received an advanced readers copy of Juliet in exchange for my honest review.

When I was introduced to Juliet I immediately was drawn to the compelling blurb from the author about this book. It looked interesting to my senses and I honestly couldn’t wait to read it. That’s why writing this review is so hard for me.

The story that the blurb reveals, doesn’t feel like the story I tried to read. I could only get about 14% through the book before I gave up. The writing switches perspectives and jumps from past to present in such a confusing manner that I was constantly lost. The story was confusing and discombobulated. It was hard to make any sense out of it. Yes, this story is supposed to be dark, dangerous and definitely mysterious, however, it’s attempt to do these things leaves the reader wondering who people are, who’s talking and wondering what they are talking about.

I know others have enjoyed this story, and I hate leaving negative reviews, but in this case, I have to.

Interesting read

So I am having a hard time forming this review. First off this is my first Kailee Reese Samuels story so I had no idea what exactly I was getting into.
This is a story of a young woman (Iris) finding the love of her life and after a very short time loosing him.
Iris is given a box when her husband's will is read. With this box she in bark's on an adventure that will take her to a whole different world.
That is the easy part to write, what happens at Juliet is a weird and messed up and well what probably happens all the time in places. So yes, I find some of the things that happen in this book messed up, but the core of the story is wonderfully told. The characters are complexed, wicked, and sexy. I couldn't put the story down and this is not a story you can skim. You have to read every word.

Why has it taken me so long to open this book. I 1-clicked it earlier on in the year and only just got to read it recently.

This is Iris story and what a story it is. Her journey of self discovery makes for a great read. Sal is the bad boy.

This book took me a few days to read. Firstly because it’s so long and secondly there are a lot of characters to get my head around.

I’ve read previous books by this author and I wish I’d read this first as now in my head the jigsaw pieces are fitting together nicely.

This was truly a brilliant read. I’m looking forward to reading more from this author.

I have been going through some contrasting feelings and it was funny how at the end of this very long book the author’s note said that was exactly her intent “evil laugh”. So going back to what I experienced while reading Juliet… It’s clear this is not your average book length; in fact, this is a tome! I enjoy long books, I’d rather read a full satisfying book than a short one where the actions are rushed and characters under developed, needless to say I don’t appreciate books that are just a repetitions of events or those that have things happening just to keep to story going but have no coherence with the whole plot altogether. When it comes to Juliet I felt sometimes this was unnecessary long, some parts were necessary to explain the full dynamics others I found pulled my attention away from the main events, those same ones slowed my reading and it felt like the story was dragging, some felt too OTT for my taste and not coherent with the general vibe.

Juliet is nothing like I have ever read before, it’s not what you expect and there is no way to explain what to look for because its vastness cannot be contained in one word or description, it holds a variety of elements. It’s very personal whether you like it or not, I personally wasn’t pleased with all of them, it certainly gave me a new perspective on BDSM. The idea of Juliet is original and alluring, but it didn’t work for me, I felt it was devoid of the feels I need when it comes to BDSM I can’t go into details as I want to keep this spoil free, I also want to highlight this is my personal perception, I’m very fussy when it comes to BDSM in fiction and I know I’m hard to please, I couldn’t connect to the way it is portrayed in here and the idea behind it.

Sal and Iris are described in great length and I liked how the author shows their development and takes the reader on a crazy journey, since these two don’t have a plain life, quite the opposite in fact, and yet I couldn’t warm to them, I got frustrated about all the push and pull and all the accompanying experiences. Again this is only me! I can’t connect to these types of couples and that’s entirely my view I couldn’t find chemistry, connection, I didn’t even feel they wanted to be together and I also found them pretty whiney and immature, I would have thought them to be more grown up by the end of this long story.

I have read few reviews complaining about the cliffhanger here, in all honesty before starting the book the author warns about the reading order, I know this author has many books about Sal and Iris, I know to some this may seem unfair and feel obliged to read everything to get closure and a full picture, this is true but it’s also true that Juliet gives a good overview, it can act as an opening to new world readers may want to explore; as for me I’m happy this way. I don’t feel I need more, I don’t see myself reading more of Sal and Iris. Will I read standalones by this author that have nothing to do with this world? Absolutely yes! It goes without saying Ms Samuels put all herself into this book, she doesn’t care about Juliet being mainstream but wants to remain true to her and her characters the way they speak to her, for that she has my absolute respect, it’s not easy to be ballsy and do your own thing in an industry where numbers, sales and popularity are prominent.

I know this is one long ass review but seen how complex the books is, I think it’s fitting the review matches it, besides I feel I owe it to the author after all the hard work she put into this.

Too long. Too many characters. One of those books you finish in case it gets better. I expected a lot more sex considering it's BDSM based. It was just ok.

Interesting and Intense!

At the beginning I thought I was reading a very lovely love story but then somehow the story took some huge twists and turns and I was thrown into a fascinating and intense BDSM love story. It was really interesting how the author knew just how to make you fall in love with her main characters but also hate them at the same time.

This story is like an onion, every time the author slowly peels back a layer of the story a new more fascinating layer appears and she hasn't even gotten to the middle of the onion yet as this story keeps evolving and growing!

There is so much more to Sal and Iris (and all the other incredible players). I can't wait to see how things evolve in each and everyone of these remarkable characters lives.

If you like your books to be on the longer side then this one's for you it's not a quick read that's for sure.

The story revolves around Iris and her discovery into the world of BDSM after her husband dies and she learns more of the world he kept hidden from her, she finds herself at Juliet acadmy with the hopes of meeting new people and learning more of who she really is and what her true desires are. Iris finds herself falling for Sal the leading male he's a bit of a bad boy lovable rogue type, there are many other characters/P.O.V's going on within this book and to be honest I found myself confused at times I struggled to keep up. According the the blurb this is classed as graphic BDSM but I wouldn't say it was that bad, it's an erotic read with a few twists and turns and a bit of mystery thrown in, on the whole it's decent read.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book through Quill and Ink Review Team.

Sometimes you cant judge a book by its cover. When I first saw the cover I didnt think it would be something that I was interested in reading. Then I noticed the name and well I knew that I had to look at this book more. Then I read the blurb and thought okay this should be a pretty good read. Man, was I wrong. This was a f*** awesome read from a new to me author. Just when I thought that I was going to be getting the same story about BDSM it turned on me and grabbed me by the collar and wouldnt let go. Our main girl Iris is the focus of the story and her journey into self exploration and finding her sexuality. I love that there are many characters that I get to know and they have their on POV take on things that are happening in the book. I think with this being such a big read with the amount of characters in it we might be looking at a possible series here.

This book was unlike anything I have ever read. TBH I was hesitant at first because it's different from what I'm use to but I'm so glad I decided to tackle this bad boy. Sal...oh beautifully broken Sal...at times I wanted to reach through the book and slap him but then I would turn the page and want to kiss the hell out of him. Iris had a lot thrown her way but I enjoyed the ride along with her. I also enjoyed meeting all the characters. This is a lengthy book but honestly I was too engrossed with the story to really notice. If you are looking for a great read that lives outside the box I recommend this one.

Title: Juliet
Author: Kailee Reese Samuels

5 amazing stars

When it comes to Kailee Reese Samuels, i keep reading her stories backwards. Not that I'm complaining - much (*bursts out laughing*). The first book I read from her was Kinky, Sex, Magic and read how Sal went from sub to dominant to Iris. Then, in Tea For Two, i found out how Sal fell in love with a Domme and a sub, starting the fire of how he came to want to become a dominant himself. I fell in love with Kailee Reese Samuels' characters in those books , but when i read Juliet, i finally understood them. This is Iris' and Sal's story - how Iris lost the love of her life and found friendship and love in the arms of Sal and a community she never knew existed until she moved to a small gown to finally meet her late husband's past.

4.5 sexy dreams

To find a true, honest to goodness true, and realistic BDSM novel is rare - very few authors are able to embody and describe what the lifestyle is about. Too often the hardships, the struggle and even the disappointments are forgotten and the pleasure, pain and scenes are highlighted - yes there is that, but not all the time. Iris' story was heartbreaking. She's so lost without her husband that my heart went out to her. Sal's need to save her in any way possible was tangible in way i couldn't have expected.

This was the story about a woman trying to discover who she really is after a loss she never could have guess would happen. It's the story about a man feeling something he hasn't felt since the loss of a girl that was cruelly taken from him so many years ago. But most of all, Juliet is the story about a community that is always ready to accept your boundaries and limits, et still push you in ways you need and crave, even if you didn't know it.

Kailee Reese Samuels may not always write about happily ever afters, but that's life, it's not always rainbows and puppies, rather, lessons and fulfillment - which is exactly what she offers her readers. For that, and so much more, makes me a fan of her work.

This was a re-read for me. I just adore Iris and Sal 😍. I'm strongly rooting for these two to find a HEA together. The BDSM world Kailee created is something I've never seen before and enthralling. Anxiously awaiting the finale for these characters.

I was very unsure of this book at first. I almost quit reading. It picked up eventually and I am glad that I powered through.

This book is 600 and some pages. For those of you who want 250 page books, this is not for you. If a book is good, I love them long. Once I got into the world of Juliet, I was hooked. I lived in Juliet for a solid week and didn't want to leave. I read in the bathroom, in grocery store lines, when I was supposed to be going to bed...

It has a different take on the BDSM theme than what I've read before. Again, some may not be into it, but I enjoyed it. It felt more real and less kitschy. The sex wasn't the main theme despite the backdrop of the whole book being sex. The characters and their lives were front and center.

Sal and Iris did start to get on my nerves a couple times, but it wasn't too bothersome. There were a lot of characters and I had trouble remembering all of them. I think there were a few that were not in as many scenes. Like Mitch. I had trouble understanding who he was as a character. I think his motives were purposefully vague, but his personality felt a bit empty.

On the flip side, there were side characters that I loved. Kate, Stephanie, Anna, and oddly Tank. (Though Tank didn't get much air time, he left an impression on me.) These characters were well rounded and I understood who they were and why they acted as they did. Their personalities were apparent. Some, like Cas, I was always a little on the fence as to if I really understood her personality. I liked her and understood her role in the story, but didn't feel like I knew her.

All in all, I liked this book quite a bit. In fact, the subsequent book I read felt childish after Samuels' poetic writing. I paused on the next book in this series because I need to figure out which is the best one to read as I think I read out of order... That may be why I didn't get all the characters.

I knew about this book once I got the chance to read Salt Kissed Love and I knew that I had to read it first. Let's just say that I loved every single word from both books.
Kailee Reese Samuels has a simple yet heartfelt writing that will hook you up from the first page. Get ready to enter in a Kinky world... Oh boy.
Juliet tells the stories of Sal and Iris.
Iris lost the love of her life and felt incomplete. She needs to find herself and after her loss she moved out to a different town where she made good friends and found what she thought she was missing. When she enters Juliet, a BDMD school she can't imagine what's about to happen.
Sal might look like a badass men, a dominant but behind that facade hides a men who wants to find love as happiness just like everyone else. Let's just say that the beautiful Iris will change is life.
Well let's just say that if your looking for a steamy as hell book this is the one. The plot is intense and forbidden. Jeez the things I've read. There were times that I wanted to hurt the characters to make them see things properly. Jeez. So stubborn.
I want more from these two and thank God I already have book two waiting for me.
Let's see what happens. Because if I hadn't Oh Kailee I would be so mad... Lol

There’s a lot of story in here; it’s very long and I found myself needing to put it down frequently. However, it didn’t stay down for too long as I also found myself needing to pick it right back up. It’s a different type of story line and I found it quite addicting, as I was curious to see how it all came together.

There are a lot of characters in this book; all of them play a role in Iris’s journey of discovering herself. To me she was a bit of a mess and I worried about her for a lot of the book. I was drawn to Sal from the beginning; he’s such an interesting character, there’s so much to him that I feel I’m missing out on because of not reading the Initiation first; I’m dying to get deeper inside of his head. I’m curious about so many of these characters and their own journeys as well.

As much as I loved parts of it, there were other parts I found lacking of information, it just left me confused and needing more. If you are looking for graphic scenes, you won’t find many and they are quite tame. However there is heat from all the looks, touches, and mostly anticipation…...that I found myself blushing. I have to wonder if I would have enjoyed it more if it were a duet or trilogy, spreading the story out to build excitement for the next one.

This is my first book by Kailee Reese Samuels and I am curious to read The Initiation and more about Sal.

Juliet is my first read by this author and it was a good read. It took me a couple of chapters to get into it, but wow! Definitely not what I was expecting. It was a very hot and emotional read.

Just let me say that when I started this book I thought it was a typical Student and Professor story, boy was I wrong! It was that's and so much more. It was a very hot and very long read.

After her husband dies Iris heads to Texas and discovers a whole new world that her husband was hiding.

I loved the story, but kind of find it hard to write a review that includes the characters since there were so many. And it's not a bad thing, the characters all fit perfectly into the story.
We are left with a bit of a cliffy, just enough to make you excited to read the book.
So if you like a hot BDSM book, then one click!
Can't wait to read the next book!

This was a newly discovered author for me, and after reading blurbs and teasers, I decided to go all in!!! I'm reading them all, as I have to learn more, the characters jump out of the pages at you and you laugh with them, get shocked or surprised, oh yes, definitely get angry!! This story starts out with a young girl and teacher, he's a widow and she has no clue about life or emotions really. They build their friendship and over time, feelings develop, Iris is so naive and Chance seems unsure with her. But after life and separation she finds him and they get married and build a life.... Until, she hears of an accident, Chance was in the military and wouldn't be coming home. Therein the REAL journey begins, she is left a box, clues inside, numbers and address, which leads her to Sugargrove
and a great cast of characters.. She's grieving, but trying to manage and figure out why she was there, what did it all mean to Chance? She's taking under someones wings and is taken to an "special" party. There our Iris will meet Sal... Holy hotness!! The bond with them is so strong and at times, they see each other as best friends, but throughout the whole story here the can feel and hear the attraction between them.. But this journey IS NOT gentle, Sal is the golden boy, the super sub, but is he truly? You see a Dominant come out at times, especially with Iris, but that man has some emotional baggage.. he needs the attention, the love, the pain and he goes from woman to woman, getting what he needs, till even that isn't working Now Iris will have so much to work thru and at some heartbreaking moments it's Sal that is there for her. She heals and explores and tries to find herself, and boy is there quite a few that want to help her along.. You will want to slap both Sal and Iris at times, they can be so vicious and cruel to each other, then run to the other because they cant stand the thought of not being together. You will love so many of Kailee Reese Samuels characters, she has written so many layers to them, and things are very rarely as they seem, as many mistakes some of them make, friendship and loyalty will be tested, there is such a sense of family. And OMG... Jack, I want more, his back story, his future, to see if he finds the one that can take and accept him! Towards the end of Juliet I was screaming at Iris and Sal, why??? You'll have to read to find out! I'm thankful I came across this author and her fabulous take on a story that is emotional, twisted, occasional dark ( be warned, the Initiation is exactly what it is) a journey of several souls who are discovering who they truly want to be and the journey it will take, I can only hope more of this is not far off. Wonderful writing of a story that isn't explored enough!!!

Re-read 4.5⭐️
If there was a Bible on the art of bd$m this would be it. I guess it’s why the craft has taken a sudden increase in popularity novel wise. I’d go as far as saying this is the book that created a genre, and delivered work mislabeled as k*nk, out into the open.

In the form of fiction, for me, Juliet is truly second to none. The community portrayed isn’t a club, a school or an underworld crossover. It’s not what Salvatore’s story is about. This is a lifestyle based on commitment, control, trust and love. It is the ultimate form of romance. The community itself, despite what many label proclivities, is a safe space for all.

If you think you’ve read the trope, think again. This is a beautifully crafted, intelligent piece of work. When I say it is second to none, in my years of reading, and studying, I’m yet to see the craft portrayed so honestly and openly.

I’m a stickler for editing. I purchase my books. I don’t want to read teen tan fic. For a debut, this is maturely written, raw prose.

Put aside your preconceived ideas on how or what the trope is. Step through the doors, into one of the most beautifully written, books on a lifestyle too many fictionalise without research or experience.

This isn’t $mut, it’s not fast, quick, instant gratification. The terminology can’t be taught, if you know you know.

I’m deducting a half star for one reason only. I’ve said its raw. I would dearly love to see Ms. Samuels notes on where she wanted to go in some places because I felt she held back. I’d not want this book re-edited, it stands as a debut work and it only gets better from here.

I'm going to be honest it's very hard for me to give a review of this book..there are alot of characters and alot to keep up with. I am not sure I have ever hated a leading male character so much. I can't even begin to tell you how much I yelled no..no..no while reading this. I wanted to stop reading it until I got to about 25% in then I couldn't I just had to see where it went. It was for sure intriguing but I am mad at the whole book..I hated the way these characters were but wanting to see what happened next kept me from stopping. I am sad and thankful I read it to the end but not happy with the ending at all. it's just one of those books you gotta read for yourself and deal with all those mixed emotions

THE BOOK THAT WOULD MAKE 50 SHADES BLUSH!

Story of a young girl who lost her husband and went on a search to find out anything she could about him and his history. And what she stumbled upon completely changed her life.
Boy, there are not enough words to describe this story line. This author has opened up SO many new doors in the book world for me. New themes, new fantasies, etc. And here I thought I read dirty books. But I was so wrong! I can't get enough of her work.

Five kinky stars rating from me ;)

I found this author by chance one night. Now I can not stop reading anything she puts out! This book has sucked me in to this world of Sugargrove. All of these characters are something else but my love is Sal. Be prepared for these books you only think you know what’s going on or going to happen. So sit back & soak up every page!

"A love story doesn't always go the way it should sometimes the path to Forever is a twisting spiraling and flying ride" this could not be more true for this book. This is unlike anything I've read thus far. It's a very long book, somewhat of a mind**ck, it will make you wonder what is going to happen next. Each time a new character is introduced the plot thickens and twist. Iris started out this meek young innocent but in the end she's not innocent at all. On her journey to find out why her husband left her a key to a house she didn't even know about, she starts to discover herself. No longer just a student, a daughter or a wife she wonders what she's supposed to do next. Then she's shown the world of Juliet and all that it offers, including the mesmerizing Sal Raniero. She's immediately drawn to him and they have an undeniable connection. But for as much as they desire each other things are not so simple. Every plot twist brings a new obstacle. Two very broken people continue to hurt each other while trying to piece them back together again. Many things are left unanswered and I hope will be addressed in future books.

Iris has lost her husband Chance, her entire world, as she says "I am going to be in love with you regardless of the cover of your book for the rest of my life." *swoon*. That alone is but one exemplary sentence in the beauty that is Samuels' writing.
Chance leaves behind a key, that takes her to a house in Sugargrove, Texas. Which upon arrival walks Iris into an entirely new world in Juliet, an academy for those seeking to learn submission and the world beyond the vanilla lifestyle. This is all more than Iris could have ever imagined, her entire marriage was shrouded in secrets and her world implodes. Entire Salvatore Raniero.
Occasionally in life, we come across someone, who with just one look, will immediately take a piece of our heart. No matter the hurt or the distance, they will always carry that piece with them, like a prized possession. This is Iris and Sal. Whatever it is they want of each other, it cannot happen until each of them find their true selves. Even if it means tearing each other apart in the process. As Samuels writes: "Unfortunately for both of them, they were both blinded by their stubborn streaks to see the magic of what existed between them."
The story of Juliet is so much more than just Iris and Sal. There are many people that play a key role in Juliet, who come together to make a merry band of misfits family. Acceptance and love are at the heart of this family. Samuels has created an entire world in Juliet, with so many rich characters, the possibility to follow each of them can create an entire mini-library for the reader. As is evident in her author profile, such worlds are being created. Juliet is not a quick read, there are 654 pages that introduce us to an entirely new world that is above and beyond what most of us could ever dream. There is so much beauty, eroticism, and heartbreak in Juliet, it's more than just a book, it's a world that begs to be delved into.

This is a new author for me, but the blurb pulled me in, had me intrigued, but it is one hell of a long read, just to warn you!

This is a difficult review to write, as it needs to be read to be fully appreciated. From the blurb it would seem that you're going to get a typical story about student falling for older professor, with some BDSM thrown in - it isn't!!

Iris is the main character and the story revolves around her journey of self exploration and finding her sexuality. But there are many other characters and many POV's within this as well, lots going on and lots to keep up with as the story hops around these other characters as well. I think the characters were well developed and the story reads very well. I really felt for Iris in all of this, in everything she has been through and her struggles to find herself.

Sal is the main bad boy rogue she finds herself falling for. He is a very complex character but definitely a lovable bad boy that I was hoping would end up with Iris. But at times their relationship had me so frustrated that I had to stop reading for a while and calm down!!

There are a few plot twists in here that you don't see coming or expect!! The book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, again which I wasn't expecting, which left me a little frustrated after all that reading - but I will definitely read the books that follow this. Even though this was such a long read, it kept me engaged with everything that was going on, you just had to keep reading to find out more. The BDSM wasn't as bad as a lot of books that I have read, more erotic than anything else, with the exception of Iris's initiation scene, which may have triggers for some people.

Overall a good, intriguing, engaging read, with mystery and at times very emotional. It's something that I would definitely recommend is worth the time and effort to read.

Juliet, one big AF book!! It's a big world, with so many characters, and so much happening, my mind is still rolling around with it all. It's a story were you as a reader, need to have an open mind. It's not for everyone!

"The reigning prince of Juliet discovered a beautiful princess hidden in the misfit wrappings of a tragic girl."

Samuels, is one hell of an amazing author!
The way this author wields the magic needed to create such beautiful words, is breathtaking!

"Without a doubt in her mind, Sal teetered on the edge of seizing his Dominance. Like toys on strings, he batted at everyone. Undermining their control by his wits and charm, he made them believe they were in control. When in truth, Sal had it, all along."

It was agonizing watching how Sal and Iris kept coming together, for just then shatter the moment, and drift even further away from each other. And still coming back for more.

"By the time she hit Oklahoma, she realized she couldn't run away anymore, but by running to Juliet, she chose herself. The Iris she intended to be, it didn't matter how she had gotten to this point, the point was she had. Growth came unique to every individual and the path was often met with great resistance."

Iris, not sure how I feel about her yet. Naive, curious, stronger than she knows. I loved how she grew throughout the story, how she discovers herself. And that she does what she wants, yet she does it because she knows she needs it, to grow.
Sal, oh boy! Do I need to say more?! *fanning myself* I need more from him!

A story about finding yourself, learn and overcome betrayals. Finding your place, and love! And to forgive.

“I love to feel needed and to serve, giving yourself up to someone with complete abandon and trusting them not to break your soul. That is love to me.”

Just wow. This entire book was just wow. This is my 13th book I’ve read by KRS and she just continues to pull me into this world more and more.

I’m absolutely obsessed with Salvatore. This was my first KRS book to really get to meet Iris and I wasn’t sure how I would like her but I actually enjoyed her a lot more than I thought I would in this book.

Iris experiences a loss and embarks on a journey to finding herself and that happens to be at Juliet, the BDSM school, where she meets Sal. These two have so much banter and angst and jealousy and it’s amazing.

Please be aware that they will be with other people as well in this book. These are two broken people trying to find themselves. One cannot live without their kinks and one is learning about themselves in this new world they’ve fallen into. One is learning to be the best submissive they can be and one is in their transition phase from star submissive to Dominant which is not an easy transition.

There will be lies, secrets, jealousy, and lots of sex.

The ending had me 😭 while this doesn’t end on a cliff hanger, it will leave you wanting to see where Sal and Iris end up.

If you want to be taken for a WILD ride, here’s the book for you.

Hi, My name is, Jamie. I like dark and dirty books. I read the synopsis/blurb (whatever the damn thing is called) for Juliet by Kaliee Reese Samuels, and I just knew this would be the PB to my Jelly, the wiener to my bun. You get what I'm saying.

WOWZA! I'm not sure if my mediocre review writing is worthy of this. Kaliee Reese Samuels is extremely talented. The story is loaded with plot twist and just pure juicy goodness. You really should read it, I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This is about Iris’ discovery of herself. Married and widowed young, Iris finds herself lost, but with clues left behind by her deceased husband she is on the path to a new and empowered Iris. She finds herself at Juliet a BDSM school. Iris is determined to find herself in the world of submission. Iris learns so much about the woman and the life she’d like live.

“While he couldn’t understand why, Sal knew Iris was his game changer, but even she didnt want to play with him.”

Iris isn't the only one who is learning things. Salvatore Raniero. Sal. He is alpha deliciousness. (Thanks, Kaliee) Sal is a super sub at Juliet. Everyone wants him and all the subs want to be him. Sal is amazing and I really enjoyed reading and connecting with him, but he is not without his own struggles.

Talk about a book that twists you inside out but has you begging for more. Juliet Acadamy in Sugargrove Texas is an incredibly intriguing Acadamy that embraces the Darker Passions that engulf many of us. Iris and our beloved Sal Raniero stoke the fires that set each other free.
Iris, a daughter, a student, a lover, a wife, a widow. A woman whose live spins out of control, out of her control. Where is she to go what is she to do. She is left a Box and within this box are clues to a future of knowledge that will help answer her some of her questions, but leAves her with even more questions. Then she meets Sal, when the gods created Sal, they surely broke the mold. He is a force to be reckoned with. Sal, Juliet’s GoldenBoy will join Iris on her journey of discovery and passions. Sal will help Iris heal and find herself. This book is not for the faint of heart and has a strongly sensual sexuality of its own that will embrace you if you let it. Well Done Author Kailee Reese Samuels on a Sensational Read!!!🌺♥️
