105-year-old cyclist sets new world record

In a skin-tight yellow and violet jersey, 105-year-old Robert Manchand sets a world record in the 105-plus age category.

The Frenchman rides 22.547 kilometres (14.010 miles) in one hour in front of a cheering crowd.

Three years ago at the same venue - St Quentin-en-Yvelines national velodrome - Manchand covered 26.927 kilometres (16.7 miles) in one hour to better his own world record in the over-100s category.
