Abstract: Chronic prostate is a stubborn illness which has the characteristics of slow onset,easy to relapse,long lingering time,complicated causes and so on.Professor Sun Jianming,a famous doctor of traditional Chinese medicine in Pudong New Area,specialized in the treatment of male common diseases.His main experiences in the treatment of chronic prostatitis are as follows.Firstly,considering the damp-heat throughout the entire course of the disease,Gongying Hulu Decoction should be used for treatment.Secondly,combining the differentiation of syndrome and disease,the qi,blood,yin and yang should be identified in clinical.Thirdly,Professor Sun is accomplished in using oral administration combined with external treatment.Finally,the clinical effect can be further improved by means of psychological counseling.
