2017-18 (Senior)… Earned first-team Big West honors for the second consecutive year by averaging 16.4 points and 6.1 rebounds, while shooting .522 percent from the floor…. became the 21st member of the 1,000 point club at UH on Jan. 25 against CSUN where she scored a team-high 18 points….was named Big West Player of the Week on Nov. 20 after averaging 13 points and five rebounds a game in wins against Northern Arizona and San Diego…. started all 30 games and averaged just over 35 minutes per game…. scored 20 points or more in 10 games…. scored double digits in 25 of 29 games….  led the team in points (494), scoring average (16.5), field goal percentage (52.2%), free throw attempts (228), free throws made (153), offensive rebounds (65), and minutes played (1,061)…. finished second on the team in rebounds (180), rebounding average (6.0), and assists (55)…. scored a career-high 27 points against Idaho State on Dec. 18….. recorded back-to-back double doubles at CSUN and at Long Beach State on Feb. 22 and Feb. 24, notching a career-high 16 rebounds against LBSU…. notched a career-high seven assists against UC Irvine on Jan. 11…. on the single season all-time list finished at No. 10 in field goal percentage at .518, No. 4 in free throw attempts with 216, and No. 9 in free throws made with 144….on the all-time list finished at No. 9 in points scored with 1,204, No.6 in free throw attempts with 482, No. 5 in free throws made with 337, No. 9 in minutes played with 3,182, and No. 10 in average minutes played at 27.9.

2016-17 (Junior): Earned first-team all-Big West honors after averaging 13.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game…was named Big West Player of the Week on March 6 after scoring a career-high 25 points to go with five rebounds and three assists while going 10-for-13 from the field and 5-for-6 from the free throw line in a win over Long Beach State on March 4…started all 30 games for the Rainbow Wahine in 2016-17…scored in double-figures 22 times in 30 appearances including nine consecutive games from Jan 19-Feb. 16…scored 20 or more points six times…shot a team-best 42.4 percent from the field for the season…hit 23.5 percent (8-of-34) from 3-point range and 66.9 percent (109-of-163) from the free throw line…had a career-high 6 assists at Cal Poly on Jan. 19…her 62 assists for the season ranked second on the team…had a career-high 11 rebounds at Nevada on Dec. 18…made a career-high 10 field goals at UC Santa Barbara on Jan. 21 and matched that total against Long Beach State on March 4…went 9-for-9 from the free throw line against Cal Poly on Jan. 28, her second nine-free-throw performance against the Mustangs of the season after going 9-for-14 against CP on Jan. 19…led the Big West Conference and ranked 83rd in NCAA Division I with 163 free throw attempts on the season, and ranked second in the conference and 139th in the country with 109 made free throws.

2015-16 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 32 games with 20 starts averaging 24.9 minutes per game…averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds per game…finished the season ranked No. 4 in the UH record books with a team-best .863 free throw percentage (63-for-73)…posted a career high of 14 points three times this season—the last coming at Long Beach State (Jan. 7)…sank a career-high six free throws vs. UC Davis (Feb. 18)…pulled down a career high of six rebounds, five assists, and 2 steals at UC Riverside (Feb. 27)…concluded the season with career highs of 93 rebounds and 213 points.

2014-15 (Freshman):  Appeared in 23 games with two starts against HPU (Dec. 31) and UNC Greensboro (Jan. 2)…averaged 4.0 points and 2.2 rebounds in 15.5 minutes per game…was very efficient, shooting .493 (33-for-67) and was 4-for-5 from 3-point range…pulled down 51 rebounds (30 offensive and 21 defensive) with 10 assists, four steals and three blocked shots…scored a career-high 11 points and played a career-high 32 minutes against UNC Greensboro…grabbed a career-high and game-high seven rebounds against No. 5/4 Stanford (Nov. 29)…dished out two assists twice against UNLV (Nov. 23) and at Loyola Marymount (Dec. 20)…scored in double-figures three times against UNCG, HPU, and BYU-Hawai‘i…had a game-high in blocked shots against UC Davis (Feb. 21)…named 2015 UH Scholar-Athlete.


Prep: A 2014 graduate of Kentwood High School in Covington, Wash.…was first athlete in league and school history to earn 12 varsity letters—four in basketball, four in volleyball and four in track & field…in 2014 was named Kentwood’s Athlete of the Year, the Seattle Times Female Athlete of the Year, and the Tacoma News Tribune’s All-Area Female Athlete of the Year…in basketball, averaged 20.1 points, 4.1 assists, 9.5 rebounds, and 3.4 steals a game as a senior…earned all-league honors all four years and was voted to the all-state team in 2013 and ’14…was named the league’s North division’s co-Most Valuable Player for 2014…was the Conk (Conquerors) Award winner in 2013…named a McDonald’s All-American and Queen of the Hardwood…helped lead the Conquerors to four state tournament appearances…was the team captain in her junior and senior seasons…earned the team’s Most Improved award as a freshman in 2010…in volleyball, helped to lead Kentwood to a league championship in 2013…was named all-league all four seasons and was voted the league’s division co-MVP for 2014…in track and field was named league’s North division’s Female Field Athlete of the Year for both 2013 and ’14…helped lead team to a state championship in 2010 and league titles in 2010 and ’14…placed in both triple and long jump at states…was the 2014 district triple jump champion…shattered the school’s triple jump record at 37-6 (previous record was 36-6)…competed in triple jump, long jump, 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles…excelled academically earning several honors including the President’s Award for Educational Excellence; 2014 Rotary Student Athlete Award; scholar athlete award; and was the Student of the Month for business (2013); language arts (2013); history (2012); and language (2010).
 
Personal: Born in San Francisco, California…nickname is “J”…majoring in business marketing and accounting…has an older and a younger sister…parents are Maile and Andrew Toeaina of Covington, Wash….mother Maile played on the Rainbow Wahine volleyball team from 1988-91 and father Andrew was a linebacker on the Rainbow Warrior football team in 1991 and was in the San Francisco 49ers training camp, but an injury curtailed his football career…older sister Alyx Toeaina throws the shot put, discus and the weight throw on Washington's track & field team…cousin Senio Kelemete was an offensive tackle for the Washington Huskies (2008-11) and was a fifth round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals but is currently a guard on the New Orleans Saints roster…cousin Matt Toeaina was a defensive lineman at Oregon (2002-05) and was a sixth round draft pick in 2007 by the Cincinnati Bengals but played for the Chicago Bears from 2007-12…cousin Simi Toeaina played football at Oregon (2005-09)…Nicole (Garbin) Toeaina played both basketball (2006) and soccer at Oregon (2001-06)...cousin Chloe Watson currently plays volleyball at Southern Idaho.
