Crown 3 coil/Therion 166 issue

I can't help you but you have exactly the setup I'm currently thinking about buying. I'm curious to see what the experts have to say about your problem.

Confused. You changed the setting to SS (I'm assuming it's a SS meant for tc or wattage) then ran it at 80-90W. Do you mean simply running wattage mode on it or was that your setting for tc use, in which case, what were your temp settings? If it was tc, one of the issues with a factory coil can be not knowing what type of SS was used. I always assume 316L and select that, but there are several SS choices in materials you can make, so do you know which you chose?

Still the most important question is was this in wattage or tc mode?

I don't own your gear either but something seems odd here. It sounds like TCR mode wasn't working so you switched to wattage? I'm sort of wondering (if you had TCR setup incorrectly) if it could have affected your coil somehow, leading to issues vaping at the wattage you want after that? I'm *in no way* suggesting this is the answer, but I am wondering about the possibility.
