The premium cable channel will air one season a day from Dec. 26 to Dec. 31, a.k.a. New Years’ Eve. This sounds like the perfect opportunity to break out a glass (or several) of that Game of Thrones-branded wine. With this marathon, Game of Thrones is inviting you to relive every graphic death, epically staged battle, sexposition scene, and unfortunate event that’s happened to the people of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros since the show began. Hopefully, this binge will help tide you over until the epic fantasy series’ next season. Production on the seventh and penultimate season began in September, and the show is expected to return in the summer of 2017. The season will consist of seven episodes instead of the usual 10.
