About the Position:
As a Test Administrator, you will administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Enlistment Test session to determine individual qualifications for enlistment into military service either in written form or via computer. The incumbent further administers Student Test Sessions at high schools and other educational institutions. The incumbent may occasionally be asked to conduct related special tests and a valid driver's license and reliable, privately-owned vehicle is mandatory to transport test materials and maintaining security and inventory of the test materials.
You MUST reside within the local commuting area of your assigned duty location. You MUST be able to cover your assigned duty location and up to 100 mile radius (200 miles round trip) of that location.
This position does NOT provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent 'as needed basis" and may require availability on periodic evening and weekend hours.
Salary indicated is a range. Your actual salary will be based on the duty location you are assigned.
Benefits are limited: Intermittent employees are eligible for participation in the Federal Employee Retirement Plan (FERS) as well as the Thrift Savings Plan. They are NOT eligible to enroll in health (except in certain situations), dental, vision or life insurance plans with this position, nor paid vacation or sick days.
