High quality product. Measurements are not helpful
This is a very high quality product with EXCELLENT stitching and a well thought out fit and feel. Everything is smooth and comfortable with no edges or hard corners. I would love to love this product, but it is too small for me to use it as intended on my 8" wrist.I am not going to put a lot of effort into measuring this, but here is my experience: It is too small to secure as a bracelet on my 8" wrist. My wife can wear it as such on her 6" wrist. The loop has a 12" circumference and is a bit of work for me to slide on and off over my a-bit-bigger-than-average hands. When I measured, the whole thing is 9" (see pic). I am not sure what the 8" in the description is...I use the strap occasionally and like it fine, but I am not able to use it as intended. I don't bother tightening it up because there is no way it will fall off after I work it over my hand and onto my wrist.

If you carry a large DSLR but don’t like wearing a neck strap, this may be the product for you. Even if you are uncertain about trying out a replacement your neck strap, the $20 price tag won’t set you back that far if you want to try it.

The strap feels fairly secure when supporting a Canon 5D Mark IV with a 100-400 lens. The wrist-strap and hardware by themselves feel rock-solid. The smaller loop that goes through the camera body may make you uneasy. Peak Design has a video on their website demonstrating it’s ability to handle up to 200 pounds, plus they guarantee the strap for life, so that may help to put you at ease.

The inclusion of second anchor that stores in the strap is a welcomed addition in a time where many products don’t include replacement parts. If you are the type of photographer who switches through several cameras during a shoot, having two anchors give you the option to attach an anchor to each camera. You can then quickly attach your strap to each camera without the need to remove it from your wrist. If you have more than two cameras, Peak Designs does sell the anchors just by themselves. In addition to serving as a quick release for the wrist strap, the anchors connect to other Peak Design products such as belt holsters, neck straps, and their capture clip. It’s nice to know you can get more value out of the product if you do choose to purchase their other products in the future.

If you keep the wrist strap attached to the camera all of the time, you may not have much use for the included microfiber pouch. However, it can always be repurposed to hold lens cleaning tools or spare camera batteries.

Peak Designs is a fairly well known brand in camera accessory circles, which may account for why the $20 price tag is a few dollars higher than similar no-name products. If you think about the money you have already invested in your camera setup, you very well may come to the realization that paying a few dollars extra for the known-brand camera protection product with a lifetime guarantee will be worth it.

A few years ago I dropped my camera on an escalator in Las Vegas. Ever since I always had the bulky fake leather hand wrap thing that connects to the side connector and a plate on the bottom. That has worked just fine, but now that I have upgraded to the 80D I found that the connector plate blocks the battery door.
So my search began for something different. Just looking at the photos here on amazon I wasnt all that impressed with the design of Peak Designs wrist strap, but it looked like it would fit my purpose, and I had read all the rave reviews on their other products. So I went ahead an ordered it.
I sure am glad I did. I didnt realize how much better this product was going to be. First the material is similar to seatbelt material, but it very comfortable and lightweight. I was worried it might be more rigid and dig into my wrist if I had any weight on it.
All the materials used seem very well made, and I like that the lanyards coming off the buttons are designed to let you know when you might want to replace them. So simple, but a great idea for photographers who worry about these types of things.

It fills a need I had, and I would recommend this product for anyone else that doesnt like to use neck straps to secure their camera when out and about.

Now if I could just talk them into making their original slide longer for us bigger guys, I would be set.

Works well, but I have large hands and the loop of the strap isn't quite large enough to easily get it on or off. Once on it works well until you turn camera 90 degrees to shoot portrait, then the strap is too short to get to the controls on the camera.

The Peak Design Cuff Camera Wrist Strap CF-2 is a very comfortable, well-made, secure wrist strap that could be used for anything from a small point-and-shoot (might be overkill for that, but it wouldn't look too weird) up to an average-sized DSLR. For really heavy DSLRs, you probably want more support such as a neckstrap; however, this strap works wonderfully with my Fuji X-T2 camera. The added convenience of the quick-release feature is appreciated, albeit not entirely necessary. If I'm going to put my camera down, I'm more likely to withdraw my wrist from the strap than to bother with the admittedly very smartly-designed (i.e., simple, effective) quick-release clip.

My one gripe about this strap is it's size. I agree with other reviewers who noted that the strap is surprisingly short. If they added about two inches to the length, it would make it easier (i.e., quicker and more convenient) to thread my medium- to large-ish hands through the wrist loop. Once it's on your hand, there is plenty of slack after tightening the loop down on your wrist, especially if you have slender wrists like I do. But seriously, I think most people are like me and will want to be able to slide it over their hand (and off again) rapidly. With the loop fully open, it fits easily over my hand, yet snug enough that I do often need to use both hands to get it on or off, which is annoying and somewhat at odds with the desired convenience of a wrist strap. However, there isn't much slack left unless you cinch the strap down on your wrist, which I don't like. Fortunately, on an X-T2, there is enough slack even with the wrist loop fully open that I can reach all the controls, but I'm not sure that would be true on a much larger camera.

Ultimately, despite the minor inconvenience that makes me wish for an extra inch or two in the length of the strap, I really like the design and I trust that it is secure and sturdy enough not to break and drop my camera.

[UPDATE 6-14-2017: I have come to appreciate the quick-release feature of this strap greatly! While I did not expect to find it useful because of my preference to slip my hand in and out of the strap instead, I have since realized that, while using a tripod, it is quicker and easier to just attach/detach the little quick-release puck from the strap as I swap between hand-holding and tripod-mounted shots. It's quick and easy, and it also means that the strap is on my wrist instead of dangling from the camera getting tangled on any of the tripod controls as I shift the orientation of the ball head. So, it turns out the quick release function is more useful/convenient than I initially believed. I still wish the length of the strap were slightly longer, but if not for that lingering qualm, this would easily be a 5-star product.]

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect companion for mirrorless cameras
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on June 20, 2017
I have to say I am sceptic when reading about all these new photo gadgets that have been pouring like rain on a midsummer's day in the past years since everything became so affordable and in reach. I was also a bit weary about Peak Design mainly because they were born through a kickstarter campaign and then made one the most expensive camera bags on the market without any brand awareness or background experience to back it up.

So I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised when the Cuff arrived. It really is a great product, very well made, looks and feels very sturdy. I've used it with a mirrorless camera for a few Horse Riding Trips and I can definitely say it was a great companion. After a bit of practice, I can use it with only one hand (yes, I can tie it around my wrist with one hand only).

My wrist is about 6" in circumference and I have to close the strap rather tight in order to clamp it on its own. Well, it's not very tight, but I imagine people with thicker wrists might have issues with the Cuff working as intended.

Overall a great product, perfect for those who hate neck straps or don't have the guts to shoot naked, or bareback if you wish.

But I still think their bags are insanely overpriced and overhyped :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Correa de calidad con sistema prático
Reviewed in Spain on July 30, 2017
No he encontrado ningún inconveniente a esta pulsera.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dragonne de grande qualité
Reviewed in France on November 22, 2016
