Grandma Wilma's Surgery

Grandma Wilma has always been a strong, protective force in our household. She has almost always taken time out of her day and pushed for people around her to better themselves, been an always welcoming face in church, and to this day still, makes a crazy good pecan pie. Grandma has been the calm in the storm of everyone around her lives. She took me and my little brother in when our mother died, she carpools people to her work every day, and even leaves cat food out outside for all the stray cats in our area. Now to be blunt, grandma isn't the youngest woman, and with age ones, vision quality decreases over time, but for a few months she has been having headaches and mentioning how most things are so blurry that it's affecting her everyday life. We took her to the doctor's office last Friday (7/29), Grandma was diagnosed with glaucoma. We are raising the trying to raise the money for her surgery by October 13th (Grandma's birthday).
