What is EasyNAS?

EasyNAS is a storage management system for home or small office. It uses openSUSE Leap as a base with the Btrfs advanced file system. EasyNAS is managed through a web-based interface. EasyNAS advanced features includes file system compression, Snapshots, copy on write, online increase/decrease file system, online balancing data between hard drives, online file system check. It also supports file sharing across multiple operating systems through the following protocols: CIFS, NFS, AFP, FTP, HTTP, SCP, DLNA and TFTP.

EasyNAS 0.6.3 New Features and Improvements

Few changes specifically in the web server service and the removal of the files browse that will be added in a future release of EasyNAS.

1. Add:  Quick unmount of a file system
2. Add:  Multiple web servers using storage from a volume
3. Add: Network restart to console GUI
4. Remove: File browsing was removed, it will be added in a file management program in future release
