ISIS hit man guns down army colonel in sickening video-game style footage

Airport security chief Abd Al-Rahim Al-Dale'i was murdered in war-torn Aden

SICKENING video game-style footage of an ISIS fighter mercilessly executing a Yemeni colonel has been posted online.

The terror group released a video of the chilling slaughter of  airport security chief Col. Abd Al-Rahim Al-Dale'i who was gunned down by an ISIS militant in war-torn Aden.

Although no group initially claimed responsibility for the sickening incident, ISIS later released the first person footage of the murder.

The stomach-churning clip film shows the gunman approaching Mr Al-Dale'i from behind as the army man steps into his car.

He then calmly shoots him leaving the colonel lying on the ground.

The killer continues to film as he points his silenced pistol at the head of his lifeless victim.

ISIS militants have taken advantage of 19 months of civil war in Yemen to expand their presence in the city, which has become Yemen's temporary capital.

There have been several assassination attempts on leading political figures and soldiers.

Colonel Ali Muqbil Awadh, a senior officer in the country's intelligence services, was shot dead while driving through the Mansoura district.

The colonel was gunned down by masked assassins as he made his way to the mosque for Friday prayers.

Yemeni President Hadi's government fled to Saudi Arabia after rebels overran the previous capital Sanaa and several other major cities - including Aden - two years ago.

And earlier this month a new propaganda video shows how desperate ISIS killers are carrying out ever-more brutal war crimes as Iraqi forces close in on Mosul.

In the sickening footage, children and pensioners are shown being forced to carry out horrific executions.

Ruthless ISIS leaders are also shown crucifying alleged traitors in a bid to terrorise the remaining population under their control.

This week, we posted an interview with an ISIS executioner who bragged how found beheading prisoners a 'pleasure'.
