We are currently seeking a consultant firm to conduct operational Research for the project called HRH - Enhancing the competence of low and mid-level health workforce in Ethiopia” “Stand up for Afari Mothers midwifery project”
General Objective
The general objective of the operational research is to assess the retention and satisfaction of health extension workers and midwives in emerging regions.
More specifically, the evaluation will focus on addressing the following core areas:
· To determine the retention status of HEWs and midwives and investigate factors influencing the retention of health workers at PHCUs-hard to reach areas
· To determine the satisfaction the current workforce at primary health care unites (especially health extension workers and midwiferies To determine the current conditions SRHR service utilization by adolescents and youths
· To determine status of mentoring, coaching and training mechanisms for health providers at PHCU by senior professionals at secondary and tertiary level
The potential consultancy firm is required to meet the following minimum requirements in order to qualify for the submission of proposal.
· Significant previous experience in similar tasks or consultancies; applicants for bid must have experience in health related research, evaluation, impact assessment and data collection methods, preferably in hard to reach areas.
