In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Beer T-Shirt would like to thank Doghaus Brewery for partnering with them on their November shirt. Located in the beautiful town of Leavenworth, Washington, they call themselves a nano craft brewery with a micro-sized tasting room. It doesn’t matter what their size is, you can tell it would be really fun to go there to enjoy a beer. The beginnings of Doghaus is a favorite at Beer T-Shirt Club. The owner, Steve, is a middle-aged homebrewer and owner of a beer garden. When he approached his wife about opening a brewery she made some passing reference to another crisis like the Harley, and said he would be in the dog house if he proceeded. Every successful marriage has its compromises, so the family dog became the logo, winning over the heart of the wife. Once Steve got the okay to move forward with the brewery, he wanted to pay tribute to the Bavarian themed hometown of Leavenworth, so haus it became. Urban legend, or true story? Raise a pint, talk about it, and maybe someday we’ll all learn the true story of what happened with the Harley.
