This game was addicting. I only stopped because I couldn't afford the price. The game itself was amazing until they started dumbing it down for new players and making dailies required. Other than that it was amazing. The dungeons and trials were challenging and so much fun. The people were amazing if you found the right guild. Overall I miss the players and most of the gameplay, but would not go back for the dailies to save my life.
Recent expansions leave much to be desired but beginning WoW expansions were peak MMORPG.
Some of the best times I've had gaming in online spaces.
I haven’t played in years, but the vanilla experience, and many expansions after, was one of the best gaming experiences of my lifetime.
Was an active wow-player until Wrath of the Lich King. I have fond memories of the community I became a part of and just strolling through lush jungles and barren deserts and just get completely immersed into this foreign world of beauty and danger. Tried a few of the expansions since Wrath of the Lich King, but the magic and the community I grew up with was no longer present.
This game took years away from me. I stopped playing regularly after the Panda expansion. I came back to play a few other expansions but not to the extent of how I used to. Even if the game went F2P I don’t think I would return.
